Clifford Keith Redus, age 90, passed away at home on December 16, 2021. He was born on February 20, 1931 to John C. Redus, Sr. and Hazel Redus. He began his life of hard work in the irrigated peanut, tomato, and melon fields of Devine.
After graduating from Devine High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy, in which he proudly served 22 years. Upon his retirement from the Navy, he attended San Diego State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. At this time, the family returned to Texas, and he became employed at Seton Medical Center in Austin as a materials management supervisor.
After his retirement from Seton, he spent his time working on his home property in Rockne, Texas and loved being outdoors. He was a good man and liked by all.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Lorene; children Linda, Keith (Donna), and Alan; grandchildren Shannon (Mario), Nathaniel (Isa), and Justin (Kenley); and great-grandchildren Jaden, Jasper, and Freya.
