Medina Valley student loses life in FM 471 wreck

A 17-year-old Medina Valley student was killed in an accident on July 10 after attempting to pass two vehicles in a no-passing zone and colliding with a tractor trailer.

Eaton and grandson in accident that releases 42 snakes

Forty-two snake, including 10 that were venomous, and one alligator were inside Blaine Eaton’s vehicle when it flipped.

Devine City Council approves Appraisal District’s estimated property values, proposed budget in split vote


Recently elected District 5 Councilman Cory Thompson cast the sole dissenting votes when the Devine City Council approved the Medina County Appraisal District’s estimated taxable value of properties and proposed 2018 budget at the meeting held last Tuesday, June 20.

Man trapped by guard rail stuck through window

Volunteer fireman Roy Reyes and Bryan Graham work hard to cut through a tough guard rail at a wreck that occurred near Biry.
