All sub-Varsity football games in Hondo Sept. 28.

According to Devine Athletic Director Chad Quisenberry, all sub-Varsity football games will be played in Hondo tonight.
7th grade A team plays at 5:00 pm, followed by 8th grade A team at 6:15 pm. JV is set for 7:30 pm.
There are no 7th or 8th grade B team games, and no Freshmen game.

Devine City Council joins Go Medina County, disburses money to Chamber

The Devine City Council voted to formally join nonprofit economic development group Go Medina County last Tuesday, Sept. 19, to the tune of $4,350 taken from the lodging tax fund, a decision that left less money for the Devine Chamber of Commerce.

Five-car pileup sends 18-wheeler down embankment, shuts down I-35 N. for hours

All five vehicles involved in the accident had to be removed by a wrecker.
