The Arabian and Warhorse Cross Country teams ran in the Floresville Invitational Saturday to begin what looks like a bright 2023 season. Eighteen runners toed the line in Tigerland as they now look forward to the shorter trip to Castroville for Medina Valley’s annual meet.

Devine JV Offensive Coordinator Lon Cozby knew his team was going against a good, physical Navarro squad in last Thursday’s scrimmage at Warhorse Stadium.

Power Hitters…Arabians Rylee Esquibel and Brooklyn Miller (pictured with Head Coach Leigh Anne McIver) were named Co-MVPs at the Arabian Roundup Tournament. These two girls can slam over a kill from anywhere on the court–front, back, middle, left side, right side–you name it! The team took the Championship at the tourney and defeated our rival Hondo Owls last week.

Pleasanton Head Coach Stephen Liska and his Eagle football team try to put their claws into their first victory of the 2023 season as they open in Devine against Head Coach Paul Gomez and his Warhorses. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm, August 25th.
