Denise Conteras was a huge part of the tremendous successes achieved by the Arabian basketball team in 2023-2024. Devine posted a 30-8 overall record which included a perfect 12-0 District 29-4A district-championship campaign.
Texas Association of Basketball Coaches recognized Contreras’ contributions and promptly tabbed her for the Class 4A-Region IV All-Region Team.
Contreras averaged 7.3 points along with 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 steals, and 1.8 assists per game. Her energy on the defensive end of the court and her ability to grab key rebounds more than likely played a huge factor in her selection to the team.
