Busy week ahead for Arabian Volleyball

By playing a boat-load of games right off the bat, the Arabian volleyball team obviously knows how to get their fan base involved quickly into their 2024 season.
Devine began practices Monday August 5 prior to rolling out two scrimmages followed by five games and three tournaments over the course of the rest of the month.
After a 32-16 2023 campaign that saw the team go 10-2 to finish as the district runners-up, Devine is eager to get the ball served up to see where it may land once playoffs begin in late October.


Arabian Nation gets their first chance to go nuts as the Navarro Panthers hit the SAC Friday, August 9. Devine’s Alumni take the home court against the current Arabian squad in their annual matchup Saturday, August 10.
The first game that counts in the win-column is Monday, August 12 against visiting Southwest Legacy. Devine gets some more home-cooking Tuesday, August 13 as San Antonio Wagner makes the short trip down.
The Arabians hit the pavement to Giddings August 14 before playing in their first tournament of the season in Columbus August 15-17.
Devine hosts Ingram August 20 prior to the 23rd Annual Arabian Roundup August 22-24.
An 82-mile road trip to the Spinach Capital of the World awaits as old district foe Crystal City hosts the Arabians August 27.
The last tilt on the August schedule is in Seguin as they host their annual tournament on the 29th, 30th, and 31st.
