Berrimon “Barry” Everette Taylor

Berrimon Everette Taylor, age 80, passed away in Georgetown, Texas, on February 20, 2021. He was born in Galveston, Texas on December 26, 1940 to Willard and Frances Taylor. He moved to Angleton, Texas in the third grade and graduated from Angleton High School in 1959. Berrimon graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1964 and began his first of 31 years of teaching.
He was preceded in death by parents Willard and Frances Taylor and nephew Todd Taylor. Berrimon is survived by his wife, Ginger Taylor; Children Kent Taylor, Monica Taylor and fiancée David, Krista Hosmer (Ken), step daughter, Noelle Newton; Grandchildren Hunter DuBose (Chelsea), Taylor DuBose, Elle Rozacky, Camdyn Schrader, and Rhett Hosmer; Brothers Randy Taylor (Marlene), Ed Taylor (Searetha), Darrell Taylor (Diane); Nephews Chad Taylor (Jennifer), Clay Taylor (Stephanie), Diggy Taylor (Kara), Mark Parsons (Sarah), Steve Parsons (Kristina); Nieces Tori and Megan Taylor.
Berrimon retired from education in 1995 to work full time with his brothers, Darrell and Randy Taylor at D.E.R. Equipment Co.
As with most people, Berrimon was responsible for both good and bad situations during his life. For any bad thing he has done during his life, he begs for your forgiveness. For the good things, he is happy that he could make someone else’s life better.
He was a person who truly enjoyed work for the satisfaction of working. Berrimon will certainly be missed by people who knew him for his pride in doing a good job.
Berrimon lived a totally full life and would want friends, relatives, and acquaintances to remember this. Don’t weep for me, for I lived a total life and always did it my way.
Visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 Friday, February 26, 2021 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:00. Graveside services will then be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery, 330 Berry Lane, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
