Arthur R. Flatequal, of Atascosa, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday. January 17, 2018, at the age of 73.
Arthur was born Saturday, June 2, 1945 in San Antonio, to Harry J. and Lillian (Richardson) Flatequal, both who precede him.
On March 6, 1971, in San Antonio, he married the former Pam Jean Pepper, and together they raised their family in Atascosa.
He proudly served in the United States Army from July of 1965 to July of 1971. In July of 1968 he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal for exemplary behavior, efficiency and fidelity.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Pam; his sons, Donny, Fletcher, and Evan Flatequal; granddaughters, Abcdee Marie, Aliyha Fay, and Delilah Flatequal.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 30 ,2019 at 10:15 am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, with interment to follow.
There will be no service at the Hurley Funeral Home, in Lytle, prior to the graveside service.
