Armando Guevara, age 59 of Devine, Texas passed away peacefully after a long illness Monday, July 15, 2019 at his residence.
Armando was born December 16, 1959 in San Antonio to Rito Guevara and Maria (Ponce) Guevara.
His hobbies were love for cars, camping with family, fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors with the kids, and canoeing. He was faithful to his Community Baptist Church of Devine. He was president ten years of the South Texas Four-wheelers of San Antonio. He and his wife spent one year building a Harley Davidson Motorcycle from scratch.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rito Guevara.
He is survived by his wife, Helen (Jenie) Guevara; sons, Adam Michael Guevara, and Jonathan Guevara; mother of his grandkids Tonya; brothers, Arthur Guevara, and Andrew Guevara; sister, Irma Lozano; five grandchildren, Adam, Jay, Casey, Olivia, and Maddie.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 8:00 am to service time at the Community Baptist Church in Devine. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am with services concluding at the church.
