Sitting at 17-12, the Arabians are heading into a tough district. They will be competing against Somerset, YWLA, Brooks Academy, and Fox Tech. They will start district in Somerset this Friday night at 6pm.
Tuesday in Crystal City the Arabians had to battle hard to get the win. “Crystal City is always a hard place for us to play at. But the girls did a great job of overcoming that and being able to finish in 3 sets. We got behind in the 3rd set, but the girls battled back and never gave up,” said proud Coach Leigh Anne McIver. Devine won in three sets at 25-17, 25-22, and 25-17.

Playing in Fredericksburg, the Arabians put up a tough fight but fell short at 0-3. “Tonight just wasn’t our night. We just made a few too many unforced errors. We had a lot of great plays and a lot of opportunities, unfortunately the plays just didn’t go our way. We did learn a lot of great lessons that will help us be successful in district and playoffs,” said Coach McIver. The Arabians fell 23-25, 20-25, 19-25.
