Anthony Joe “Boy” Aguirre, Jr. was born on September 21, 1995 in San Antonio, Texas. He was taken from his loved ones much too soon on September 5, 2018 at the age of 22, from injuries he received in an automobile accident north of Castroville.
Anthony was one of three children, and the only son, born to Anthony Joe Aguirre, Sr., and Eva Sauceda Aguirre. Anthony was a member of the Medina Valley High School graduating class of 2014. After graduating from high school, he worked with his father as a carpenter in the building construction and remodeling business.
His grandfathers, Romaldo Aguirre and Inocencio Saucedo have preceded him in death.
Survivors include his parents, Tony and Eva Aguirre, Sr. of Castroville; sister and brother-in-law, Kendra and Leroy Perales of Castroville; sister, Kimberly Aguirre of Castroville; girlfriend, Kaitlin Frost of Castroville; nieces, Savannah Perales, and Kylie Perales; nephew, Gavyn Perales; grandmothers, Gloria Aguirre and Lucia Sauceda; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, September 11, 2018 starting at 5:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
