Alton “Tommy” Little

Alton “Tommy” Little passed away peacefully at his home on March 31, 2018 in Natalia, Texas. He was 82 years of age. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clara V. Little, his parents, Joe & Lola Little and 11 brothers and sisters that joined the Lord before him.
Alton T. Little was born on June 1, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas to, Joe Little Sr. and Lola Agnes Grun-Little. He is a Natalia High School graduate who married his high school love, Clara Virginia Evans, in October of 1954. He then continued his education and began his career in the military by joining the US Navy, serving two short years and reenlisting to then serve in the US Air Force. He served as a Training Tech Special Actions Tech for 16 years. He retired December 31, 1974 after his years of service. He then continued on to support the military life by working his remaining years with AAFES.He retired with them and was able to enjoy life with his wife, kids and many grand children.
Tommy was a deacon at the First Baptist Church Natalia where he and Ginger attended church with their family for years. He found joy and peace in Our Lord and enjoyed their many friends and fellowships. He enjoyed building and spent many years making additions to their family home. Most of all he loved his garage sales and reselling of his found possessions within the community.
Tommy is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Debora and Robert Bulkley of Natalia, daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Sonny Tidball of Natalia, Son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Karen Little of San Antonio. Grandchildren Katherine Civiletto of Seguin, Brandi and Robert Crawford of Natalia, Krystal Little of San Antonio, CW Tidball of Natalia and Matthew and Chelsea Tidball of Uvalde. He also leaves behind ten beautiful and bright great-grandchildren.
Tommy will be buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Devine, Texas on April 5, 2018. A memorial service will take place on April 5, 2018 at the First Baptist Church Natalia beginning at 11am. Visitation will be from 7-9:00 on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Alta Vista Funeral Home in Natalia. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life he lived while on this earth. Thank you.
