Abundia M. Martinez, age 91, of Ontario, California and formerly of Devine, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Miguel Lino Martinez; her parents, Manuel Mauricio and Josepha Ortiz Mauricio; siblings, Irene Fraga of Natalia; Ascension DeLaRosa of Devine; Benancia Campos of Natalia; Donicia “Nicha” Garcia of Devine; Josepha “Chencha” Ramirez of Devine; Antonio Mauricio of Devine; Manuel Mauricio of Devine; children, Irene Martinez, Antonio “Coco” Martinez, Juan Martinez, Olga Solis, Lino Martinez, Jr., Josepha Granados and Hortencia “Arty” Payan.
Abundia is survived by her children Oralia Sanchez, Ofelia Nollolla, Otilia Belmontes, Maria Martinez, Antonio Weiland, Lina Schock, Pearl Martinez, Rosie Mendoza, Eddie Martinez and Manuel Martinez.
Abundia was a loving woman of God. She was a mother of 17 children and over 250 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be missed. We are comforted in knowing she is living in Glory now.
A memorial service took place on May 29, 2019 at Draper Mortuary in Ontario, California.
