The Warhorse baseball team had a three-game winning streak in District 27-4A after defeating Carrizo Springs, Pleasanton, and Bandera prior to their March 24 tilt in Somerset. Devine had won four in a row overall after claiming a non-district win in Jourdanton on Saturday, March 21.

Devine disposed of the Eagles rather easily at Warhorse Field on March 17, claiming a 7-3 win after getting out to a 4-0 lead after two complete innings.
Pitchers Alejandro Ramirez and Rudy Costilla combined to limit Pleasanton to only 3 hits, 3 earned runs, and struck out 7 while walking 5.
