Postseason awards continue rolling in for senior Warhorse standout basketball player Mason Beaver as the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches tabbed Beaver one of the top 25 players in Class 4A from around the entire state.
Beaver averaged 23.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 3.1 steals, and 3.2 deflections over 34 games for the District and Bi-District Champion Warhorses. He increased his average to 24.1 points per game during league action, shooting at a 49% clip.
He has also been named District 27-4A Outstanding Offensive Player of the Year, TABC All-Region, and is set to play in the 3rd Annual San Antonio Sports All-Star Basketball Game on Sunday, April 12 inside the Northside ISD Sports Gymnasium alongside teammate Karson Ray.
Beaver led the Warhorses to a 25-13 overall record including their 10-3 mark in 27-4A.
Devine made the UIL State Playoffs for the first time since the 2020-2021 season and won both district and a postseason game for the first time since the 2019-2020 season.
