12:23 AM – N. Benton St. @ Railroad St. / Adams St. – Officer responded to a report of the Railroad Crossing Arms malfunctioning.
1:42 AM – 15300 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to an active alarm and discovered an unlocked door. After an interior search, the business was secured.
1:57 AM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 400 Blk. Meadowview Dr. – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a 911 hangup. Everything was okay.
5:45 AM – 19500 Blk. S. Somerset St. – Officers provided an escort for a military member re-deploying.
8:21 AM – 17900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officers responded to the report of an assault between an ex-husband and ex-wife.
9:43 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to an unwanted customer.
10:37 AM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officers responded to a report of an irate consumer. The consumer was transported to the San Antonio Behavioral Hospital for an Emergency Detention.
12:38 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a suspicious female juvenile but could not locate her.
Tuesday, January 07
9:30 AM – 19500 IH 35 – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between a brother and sister.
10:03 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2005 Ford F-250.
10:41 AM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided a funeral escort to the Lytle Community Cemetery.
12:50 PM – 18100 Blk. FM 2790 N. – Officer responded to a deer that had been struck by a vehicle. The Texas Game Warden was notified and advised that they would make the scene.


4:44 PM – IH 35 Frontage Rd. @ FM 3175 – Officer responded and was unable to locate the black Nissan Sentra.
7:18 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS – 19900 Blk. Doc Holiday Dr. – Officers responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
9:24 PM – Lytle PD – Officer was notified that Bexar County had recovered a 2005 Ford F-250 stolen from Patriot Auto in April 2024.
Wednesday, January 08
8:00 AM – Lytle PD – Officer took a written statement for a case under investigation.
11:30 AM – 14700 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to assist a homeowner in gaining access to their residence.
2:28 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officer responded to transport a consumer to the San Antonio State Hospital on a mental health warrant.
3:46 PM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded and arrested a male on an active juvenile warrant out of Atascosa County for Burglary. The male was booked into the Atascosa County Juvenile Detention Center.
4:14 PM – Main St. @ FM 2790 – Officer made contact with an elderly male trespassing on railroad property.
8:17 PM – Main St. @ McDonald St. – Officers responded to discover kids skateboarding. Everything was okay.
Thursday, January 09
9:10 AM – 15300 Blk. Oak St. – Officer responded to the death of an 83-year-old female.
12:27 PM – Main St. @ Somerset St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
1:44 PM – Lytle-Somerset St. @ IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
2:56 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded regarding an unwanted customer.
4:00 PM – Main St. @ McDonald St. – Officer provided a female a courtesy ride during the cold rain.
4:01 PM – Adams St. – Officer responded to a report of a female in the rain but could not locate her.
8:23 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded to a report of a male outside the business but could not locate him.
8:45 PM – 19800 Blk. Creek St. – Officers responded to a report of a damaged vehicle. After further investigation, it appeared the complainant ran over something.
Friday, January 10
9:20 AM – Lytle School Area – Officers responded for extra patrols due to the incident occurring in Poteet.
10:55 AM – Laredo St. @ FM 2790 N. – Officers responded to a report of a missing stop sign. They placed a temporary sign, and TXDot was notified.
1:45 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – 300 Blk. CR 6842 – Officers responded to assist outside the city limits of Lytle with an active burglary in progress. Officers located the female on CR 6842, and MCSO arrested her on an active warrant.
3:10 PM – 11500 Blk. Laredo St. – Officer responded to unlock a vehicle.
6:41 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a baggie of drugs found at the self-checkout. The case is under investigation.
6:50 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS –19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officer responded to assist a consumer having a medical emergency.
7:30 PM – 14700 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance.
9:08 PM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded to unlock a 2011 Ford Fusion.
Saturday, January 11
12:35 AM – Star Cross Trail – Officer responded to a report of a male in a white truck. Everything was okay.
1:10 AM – FM 2790 @ IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officers responded to check on a homeless male but could not locate him.
1:43 AM – 20000 Blk. IH 35 S. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for speeding, which resulted in the arrest of a 21 year old male for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
2:38 PM – Lytle PD – Officer released personal property belonging to a male from a previous case.
6:34 PM – 14700 Blk. Main St. – Officer provided a courtesy ride for a female with small children to a residence on Maureen Path.

4:26 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to the HEB Plus for a report of a lost cell phone.
7:37 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to an unwanted customer.
8:33 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a possible intoxicated driver. Everything was okay.
