11:45 AM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided a funeral escort to the Masonic Cemetery.
8:02 PM – Windview Ct. @ Farmer Dr. – Officer conducted a field contact with new homeowners in the Rosewood Subdivision.
Tuesday, August 27
6:08 AM 20200 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to call for a suspicious vehicle todiscover it was a traveler taking a nap in his vehicle.
9:06 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a refrigerated box van leaking hazardous liquid but could not locate it.
5:43 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to assist in jump-starting the vehicle battery for a stranded motorist.
10:19 PM – 15300 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance.
11:15 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officer responded to assist a consumer being transported back to his residence in the county.


Wednesday, August 28
1:28 AM – Lytle PD – Officer was contacted by the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office regarding a recovered Bobcat skid Steer stolen on 8/12/2024 from the Rosewood subdivision.
4:45 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2017 Kia Sportage.
1:414 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander.
2:13 PM – FM 2790 @ Farmer – Officer provided a courtesy ride home to two female juveniles who missed their school bus.
7:45 PM – Stratford Cove – Officer conducted a field contact with new homeowners in the Rosewood Subdivision and provided a non-emergency phone number for future reference.
11:25 PM – Norvell St. @ Live Oak St. – Officer removed a tree limb from the roadway.
Thursday, August 29
2:33 AM – 19200 Blk. N. Prairie St. – Officer observed an unlocked unit at the storage facility.
7:45 AM – 700 Blk. DH 132 Natalia – Officer, assisted by a DPS Trooper, discovered a gooseneck trailer from a previous case was stolen out of Medina County.
2:33 PM – AT&T – An officer received a call from a complainant in Springfield, Illinois, who said someone used her ID to purchase a U-Verse TV for $1,227 at a residence in the city limits. The case is under investigation.
3:30 PM – Lytle PD – Officers processed a 12-year-old male juvenile on two felony charges and processed him into the Atascosa County Juvenile Detention Center.
5:18 PM – 19400 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2017 Ford Expedition.
Friday, August 30
9:00 AM – 11500 Blk. Laredo St. – Officers attended the presentation of a $315,809 check from the (COPS) School Violence Prevention Program Check presented by Congressman Henry Cuellar.
11:22 AM – 18400 Blk. Live Oak St. – Officers observed an illegal fire and advised the resident of the city ordinance.
2:17 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – The officer responded to a call for a reckless driver and did not observe any reckless driving.
3:57 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – The Officer transported a consumer on a mental health warrant out of Atascosa County to the San Antonio Behavioral Center.
9:39 PM – 63200 Blk. SH 132 – Officer assisted a motorist who struck a dog in the roadway.
10:24 PM – FM 3175 @ IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officers provided a courtesy ride to two juvenile females back to Las Palomas.
Saturday, August 31
10:40 AM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to unlock a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer.
3:46 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – FM 2790 @ Lucky Rd. – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a male seen starting a fire along the side of the roadway. The male was detained, and ACSO arrested the male for arson.
4:39 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer was flagged down regarding possible damage to his vehicle. No damage was observed.
6:20 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 100 Blk. Avery Dr. – Officer responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with an alarm. Everything was okay.
6:35 PM – John Lott Park – Officer responded and detained a female on an emergency detention and transported her to the Laurel Ridge for a mental health evaluation.
9:53 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for a defective headlight, which resulted in the arrest of a 62 year old male for an active warrant out of Atascosa County for Assault with Bodily Injury. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
Sunday, September 1
6:42 AM – Main St. @ Somerset St. – Officer observed the red light was not working correctly. TXDot was notified for repairs.
8:50 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a report of a reckless driver and did not observe any reckless driving.
