6:35 PM – 19900 Blk. Doc Holiday Dr. – Officer responded to a report of credit card abuse, comp. reported her card was used at a Pizza Hut in Florida.

1:33 PM – 15000 Blk. Mesquite St. – Officer responded to a welfare check and determined it was a custody issue. Everyone was okay.

3:53 PM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage.
5:10 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to assist a patient with a medical emergency.

7:40 PM – Lonesome Dove @ Butch Cassidy – Officer responded to a suspicious activity call and determined the vehicle was a salesman for Vivint.

11:55 PM – IH 35 MM 132 – Officer spoke to a male who stated he had a flat tire. When he returned from repairing the tire, his vehicle was missing from outside the city limits of Lytle.

8:30 AM – 19400 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer spoke to the owner of the complex to request extra patrols due to a reported vagrant sleeping in the area behind the apartments.
9:45 AM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided a funeral escort to the Lytle Community Cemetery.
10:00 AM – 19700 Blk. IH 35 – Officers conducted a fire inspection to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy.
11:29 AM – 15400 Blk. Main St. – Complainant reported a possible theft, more information needed.
6:40 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2019 Jeep.
6:54 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a suspicious person call and provided a courtesy ride for the traveling male to Devine.
9:05 PM – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officer was contacted regarding a $2,000 scam at the store. The scammer pretended to be a vendor and requested payment.

10:20 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers provided a jumpstart to a stranded motorist.
4:49 PM – SH 132 S. @ City Limits – Officer responded to a report of a goat in the roadway but could not find it.
7:13 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a minor traffic accident to discover the parties had exchanged information before the officer’s arrival.

9:45 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to assist the two males in changing a flat tire.
9:45 AM – Saddle Ridge @ Doc Holiday – Officers responded to a report of mail in the roadway. It was junk mail left on the mailboxes.
11:13 AM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded by assisting in jumping a dead battery.
2:00 PM – Lytle PD – Officer fingerprinted a male for a Federal Firearm License.
4:04 PM – IH 35 @ MM 133 SB – Officers responded to a report of loose goats near the roadway.
5:05 PM – 19800 Blk. Wyatt Earp Way – Officers responded to assist Lytle VFD and investigate a small fire in the attic of a home under construction. The fire was determined to be accidental and electrical in nature.
5:12 PM – Wyatt Earp Way @ Saddle Ridge – Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
8:31 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for an expired motor vehicle registration that resulted in the impounding of a 2004 Ford van for expired MVR, no insurance, and no driver’s license.
10:18 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 150 Blk. Tree Farm – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist in a disturbance.
10:43 PM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to assist a stranded female motorist.
Saturday, August 10
1:53 AM – 15800 Blk. White Cap Dr. – Officer provided a courtesy ride to the male’s home from FM 2790.
10:20 AM – Assist LFD w/Vehicle Fire – IH 35 NB – just inside the city limits. The investigation led us to believe the vehicle had a mechanical issue, overheated, and the engine compartment caught fire. A 1995 Ford P/U was destroyed by fire.
3:41 PM – IH 35 SB near MM 131 – Officers responded to a report of loose goats near the roadway.
7:53 PM – 20200 Blk. IH 35 NB Frontage Rd. – Officers observed a stranded motorist who stated a wrecker was on the way.
10:23 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 100 Blk. E. Robin Lynn – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a possible overdose.
11:15 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 470 Blk. Robin Lynn – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a male trespassing.
