Monday, April 21
12:25 AM – 19700 Blk. IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officers observed a pickup in a ditch, which resulted in the arrest of a 70 year old male for DWI. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
4:45 AM – 16000 Blk. Stratford Cove – Officers discovered an unsecured vehicle with the trunk open. At the owner’s request, they secured the vehicle.
4:58 AM – Railroad St. – Officer provided a courtesy ride for the conductors of the disconnected train to clear the railroad crossings.
9:14 AM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded to a report of two vehicles dumping trash in the dumpsters and discovered it was school employees.
12:00 PM – S. Somerset St. @ Hester St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for an expired motor vehicle registration, which resulted in the arrest of a 41 year old female for an active warrant out of Atascosa County for theft. Officers found narcotics and charged the subject with possession of a controlled substance. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
12:31 PM – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance, which resulted in a criminal trespass warning issued to an unwanted customer.
8:34 PM – Whitecap Dr. @ Lake Meadow Dr. – Officer responded to a report of people walking with suitcases but could not locate them.
10:00 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a 911 hang up. Everything was okay.
10:01 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a 911 hang up but could not locate the caller.
Tuesday, April 22
2:22 AM – 19800 Blk. Bruce St. – Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle but were unable to locate the vehicle.
2:26 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to check on a vehicle parked in the drive-thru lane with two flat tires, which resulted in the arrest of a 20 year old male for driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, search, or transport. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
12:50 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded and placed a male under emergency detention and transported him to the Camino Real Crisis Center.
2:08 PM – Lytle PD – Officers spoke to a female regarding numerous phone calls about a traffic accident she was involved in outside the city limits of Lytle.
5:45 PM – Dhanis St. @ Houston St. – Officer responded to a report of a juvenile entering a residence. Everything was okay.
8:21 PM – 19300 Blk. Huckleberry – Officers responded to look for a white Chevrolet Tahoe but could not find it.
Wednesday, April 23
6:15 AM – 15900 Blk. Lake Shore Dr. – Officers secured the roadway while the FBI executed a search warrant.
11:40 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a possible intoxicated driver. Everything was okay.
Thursday, April 24
9:42 AM – 19400 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury hit-and-run accident. The hit-and-run driver was later identified.
10:01 AM – 19100 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to an active alarm. Everything was okay.
1:13 PM – Main St. @ Martin St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
4:05 PM – FM 2790 @ Laredo St. – Officers responded to a report of a female sitting near the intersection. Everything was okay.
4:35 PM – 19300 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded to a report of a juvenile not picked up from school. The child was released to the grandparents,
4:39 PM – 14400 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
6:29 PM – Lytle PD – Officer met with the driver involved in an earlier hit-and-run accident and identified her.
11:25 PM – 14600 Blk. Main St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for a muffler violation (excessive noise), which resulted in the citation and release of a 20 old male and a 20 year old female for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday, April 25
8:00 AM – 19100 Blk. N. Prairie St. – The officer responded to read a book to a first-grade class.
10:45 AM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided a funeral escort.
12:10 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a female regarding a family issue.
1:05 PM – 15300 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male. Before the officer’s arrival, the male had already departed the location.
2:46 PM – 15000 Blk. Gate St. – Officers observed an open door on a vehicle and notified the owner. Everything was okay.
3:45 PM – FM 2790 N. @ CR 681 – Officers checked on a homeless female sitting across from the school.
6:06 PM – IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of a vehicle with a blown tire but could not find it.
7:45 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS –19700 Blk. IH 35 SB Frontage Rd. – Officers responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
8:37 PM – 20200 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of an ATV leaving the station but could not locate it.
10:11 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS –14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – Officers responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
11:26 PM – 800 Blk. CR 6710 – Officers responded to a civil matter between a husband and wife.
Saturday, April 26
10:50 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer was advised of a vehicle repossession.
12:21 PM – 19500 Blk. S. Somerset St. – Officer spoke to a complainant on the phone regarding a verbal argument.
6:47 PM – 100 Blk. CR 6841 – Officer observed 8-10 Chihuahuas in the roadway and secured them back on their property.
10:49 PM – 15300 Blk. Adams St. – Officer responded to a report of a suspicious white SUV but could not locate it.
Sunday, April 27
1:36 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a complainant who reported her vehicle was damaged while at the HEB Plus on 4/19/2025. The Lytle PD was not contacted at the time of the accident.
2:22 PM – 100 Blk. CR 6843 – Officers responded to a report of a horse that jumped the fence and was missing.
6:51 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – An officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding, which resulted in a 31 year old male’s arrest for DWI. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
10:15 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office – SH 132 @ Diaz St. – Officers responded to assist with a report of a motorcycle traveling at 100 MPH, but could not locate it.

April 18
4:25AM – Officer found open door to locker room. Cleared building, all okay.
23:55PM – Officer dispatched to Hondo Ave for male locked out of car.
April 19
0:25AM – Officer dispatched to Benton Ave for three brothers in verbal disturbance. All parties separated.
4:21AM – Complainant on LC Martin Dr stated he was assaulted. Refused to cooperate when officers made location.
8:34AM – Officer dispatched to McAnnely Ave for verbal disturbance between complainant and husband. All okay.
15:10PM – Complianant on Rosewood reported damage to door.
19:13PM – Complainant on IH 35 S advised female stole merchandise and walked out. Charges pending.
23:25PM – Officer dispatched to Libold Dr for male on property. Unable to locate.
April 20
2:55AM – Complainant on Corley Dr advised male banging on front door. Departed prior to officer’s arrival.
3:48AM – Complainant on Libold Dr stated ex tried to run her over with vehicle. Neither party located; wouldn’t speak to officer.
12:46PM – Complainant on Hondo Ave found clear ziplock bag in men’s restroom containing crystal substance. Complainant felt ill after and was transported to VA hospital. Tested by PD and found meth residue.
13:31PM – Officer dispatched to Hondo Ave in reference to male turned off gas to building, moved items around and cut old phone line cable. Subject identified from surveillance video by police. Charges pending.
22:14PM – Officer dispatched to Hondo Ave E for male walking in street. All okay.
April 21
8:20AM – Officer dispatched for priority 1 neglectful supervision / physical abuse. CPS notified.
12:55PM – Officer dispatched to IH 35 S for minor accident.
13:20PM – Officer dispatched to IH 35 S female cited for DWLI and released.
19:27PM – Officer dispatched to W Coker Ave for minor accident.
22:11PM – Officer dispatched to Moore Ave for report of loud music. Unable to locate.
April 22
11:17AM – Complainant reported her vehicle being struck while unoccupied at St. Joseph’s Church. Surveillance video identified other vehicle.
12:10PM – Complainant called in reference to a missing truck. Truck located in San Antonio by police.
14:42PM – Officer dispatched to Crouch Ave for disturbance between mother and son. Son left prior to officer’s arrival.
16:00PM – Officer dispatched to St Hwy 132 N for near accident between truck and motorcycle. Motorcyclist believed to have fallen off bike, but took off prior to arrival. No property damage reported.
April 23
0:45AM – Two vehicles involved in rolling disturbance traveling south on 173 into Devine. Complainant advised female almost struck his vehicle while chasing him. Dispatch instructed complainant to drive to PD. Original verbal disturbance occurred at CR 6612 and parties were separated.
16:20PM – Complainant on Warhorse Dr called in reference to speeding vehicles before and after school.
April 24
8:00AM – Officer dispatched to ZigZag for welfare check on female that was reported to have been crying while on phone. Unable to locate.
17:10PM – Complainant on Jamison Dr reported male subject acting suspicious in area. Subject identified by police.
18:20PM – Complainant on Teel Dr reported damage to one wash bay by vehicle, spray gun hose was damaged and scrap on wall.
20:54PM – Complainant on Washington Dr reported vehicle swerving on street. No TXLP. Unable to locate.
22:28PM – Complainant on Jamison Ave reported saw people walking in creek bed. Unable to locate.
23:47PM – Complainant on Benton Ave stated female was driving by her house with loud music and kept knocking on her door.
