03/25/2026: Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of 3rd Street East to assist EMS.
03/25/2026: Officers responded to a dispatch call regarding a vehicle fire in the 21000 block of FM 471.
03/26/2026: Officers responded to IH-35 South at CR 6700 for a suicidal subject.
03/26/2026: Officers responded to the 500 block of Miller for Code Enforcement.
03/27/2026: Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of 5th Street regarding a Disturbance.
03/27/2026: Officers responded to the 100 block of East 5th Street regarding Indecency with a Child.

Devine Police Report

March 20
0:49AM – Complainant on Brown Ave. requested patrol by due to seeing dark colored sedan pass slowly by residence multiple times in past 20 minutes and used their driveway to turn around.
3:27AM – Officer dispatched to Teel Dr N for male and female arguing outside residence. Parties separated for the night.
March 21
12:13PM – Officer dispatched to Hondo Ave E in reference to male skating down the road. Officer made contact with subject; all okay.
18:09PM – Late entry – assisted MCSO with active disturbance on TX SH 173. Occurred on 3/18/26.
18:19PM – Officer dispatched to IH 35 S for theft. Male subject cited and released.
20:56PM – Assisted MCSO blocking off right side of lane on IH 35 at crash scene.
21:08PM – Assisted MCSO on CR 652 until deputies arrived. 5 year old male found by passerby on SH 173.
22:52PM – Complainant advised wallet was stolen from her shopping card while inside store around 2200 hours.
March 22
10:52AM – Complainant advised stolen credit card was used at store on E Hondo Ave. at 2233 hours. Total $65.81.
14:23PM – Complainant on Hondo Ave E was at gas pumps exchanging child custody when female assaulted her and then left scene. Charges pending.
19:49PM – Complainant on Breeze Dr called in reference to a suspicious blue car in area. Requesting extra patrols.
March 23
0:20AM – Skimmer check at various businesses in area. All clear, none found.
10:26AM – Complainant on Bentson Dr advised of vehicle blocking fire hydrant. Officer made contact with owner and vehicle moved.
March 24
10:48AM – Complainant on Thompson Dr requesting courtesy patrol due to gray Honda parked across street with occupant in it. All okay.
11:01AM – Complainant on Bright Dr N called in reference to male subject in white shirt, red ball cap and blue jeans on vacant property. Unable to locate subject.
16:56PM – Complainant on Hondo Ave E reported a reckless driver since Lytle, parked at Devine Place Apartments.
17:17PM – Officer stopped vehicle on Hondo Ave E for traffic violation. Subject cited for DWLI and released.
March 25
7:30AM – Officer dispatched for minor accident.
8:00AM – Officer dispatched to Hondo Ave W for minor accident.
17:04PM – Officer dispatched to IH 35 S for minor accident.
17:17PM – Officer dispatched to IH 35 S for minor accident.
20:30PM – Assisted DPS on IH 35 NB at MM 152 with crash. Three injured and taken to BAMC.
March 26
10:05AM – Officer dispatched to Teel Dr N for minor accident.
12:45PM – Complainant on Bright Dr N called in reference to relative on property causing verbal disturbance with her and her grandmother.
15:20PM – Officer dispatched to IH 35 NB access road for minor accident. Was in county area, MSCO took over.
15:43PM – Complainant on Cardinal Dr called in reference to black Volkswagen with subject shooting water guns at passers by. Spoke to principal of High School, all okay.
16:32PM – Officer dispatched to Teel Dr N for minor accident.
18:10PM – Officer dispatched to Thompson Ave for male and female family members arguing. Male was asked to leave location.

Monday, March 23
1:30 AM – Assist Bexar County Sheriff’s Office – IH 35 NB @ MM 133 – Officer responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a rollover accident.
8:49 AM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for an expired motor vehicle registration, which resulted in the discovery of a small amount of marijuana, which was seized by the officers.
1:00 PM – Lytle PD – Officer released personal property to its owner.
3:25 PM – S. Benton St. @ Oak St. – Officer observed an elderly female walking. Everything was okay.
3:33 PM – CR 681 @ FM 2790 – The officer observed a door-to-door salesman and advised him to stop selling until he obtains a permit from City Hall.
7:18 PM – 18600 Blk. N. Benton St. – Officers responded to a report of a reckless driver but were unable to locate the vehicle.
Tuesday, March 24
2:30 AM – Farmer @ Medlock Valley – Officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and identified the driver and passenger. Officers contacted the parents of a 16-year-old passenger and waited until they arrived to pick up their daughter.
4:22 AM – Assist SAPD – IH 35 @ MM 133 – Officers responded to assist in a vehicle pursuit of a stolen SAPD Patrol SUV that originated outside the city limits of Lytle. The pursuit was terminated on Live Oak St. when SAPD boxed in the vehicle and arrested the driver.
9:26 AM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
1:02 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a female regarding a forged check that was cashed on her husband’s account in the amount of $9,800 at the Lytle State Bank.
7:10 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officers made contact with a consumer regarding her phone being jammed while she was in the facility.
8:11 PM – Lytle PD – Officer conducted a follow-up on the forged check that was cashed at the Lytle State Bank.
Wednesday, March 25
3:04 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
8:35 AM – 19500 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of a snake on the caller’s car mirror. The snake was removed.
11:45 AM – Assist Lytle VFD – 15200 Blk. Hester St. – Officers observed a brush fire that was started by a spark from a welder.
11:50 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
5:00 PM – 15000 Blk. Adams St. – Officer responded to a report of a phone being hacked that resulted in the arrest of a 51 year old female for an active felony Guadalupe County warrant for Driving While Intoxicated with a child. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
5:15 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
6:24 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a dog in a vehicle but could not locate it.
8:30 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle to discover it was the cleaning crew’s vehicle.
Thursday, March 26
4:01 AM – 19600 Blk. IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for a defective tail lamp that resulted in a citation and release of a 27 year old female for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
9:00 AM – 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer provided a bus escort for the Lytle High School Power Lifting Team.
11:17 AM – IH 35 NB – Officer responded to a reckless driving 18-wheeler that resulted in a short pursuit that was terminated at Luckey Rd. Bexar County Sheriff’s Office was notified.
1:32 PM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – Officer responded to an 18-wheeler blocking the roadway and discovered the truck was broken down and awaiting repairs.
2:15 PM – Lytle PD – Officers observed a brush fire that was started by a spark from a welder, and again determined it was an accident by the same contractor.
7:38 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officers responded to a report of a consumer departing the facility. The consumer voluntarily entered and departed but could not be found.
Friday, March 27
9:26 AM – 16000 Blk. Imes Way – Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle and discovered it had been repossessed.
9:45 AM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officer received a phone call regarding a forged $20 bill that was passed earlier in the week.
8:56 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.

Saturday, March 28
10:05 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
10:10 AM – 14600 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a report of a $220 meat purchase, but the payment did not go through and was not noticed until the customer departed.
12:19 PM – 20200 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a business alarm and discovered that it was a vendor working on the ventilation system.
12:28 PM – 19900 Blk. FM 2175 – Officer responded to a report of a suspicious person to discover a homeless male. The male departed soon after with his sister.
2:40 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS – 19500 Blk. Bruce St. – Officers responded to assist a patient having a medical emergency.
4:04 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2015 GMC Terrain.
5:24 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a $100 bill stolen from her wallet that was left in a shopping cart. The wallet was returned, and the female did not want to pursue charges.
6:56 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
8:19 PM – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a report of shots fired and found the shots to be “pop rock” fireworks being shot at a birthday party.
9:10 PM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – Officer was approached by a male who turned in a cell phone that was left in the bathroom.
23:18 – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to a report of an unknown male knocking on a vacant residence. Officers could not locate the male.
Sunday, March 29
8:01 AM – 15100 Blk. Hester St. – Officer responded to the death of an 83-year-old male.
8:15 AM – Assist Medina / Bexar County Sheriff’s Office – FM 2790 – Officers responded to assist in a vehicle pursuit involving a stolen vehicle. The pursuit originated outside the city limits of Lytle and did not enter the city. Lytle officers were not involved.
8:57 AM – IH 35 SB @ MM 132 – Officer responded to a report of an injured goat but could not locate it.
12:03 PM – SH 132 SB in Medina County – Officer responded to a report of a male wearing a black hoodie and a black backpack lying face down on the side of the roadway, but could not locate him after driving just north of Natalia.
3:56 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
11:16 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 90 Blk. Fox Run Dr. – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist in searching for a male subject stealing property but were unable to locate him.
