Kickoff 2024 Wreaths Across America Campaign at Post 3966 Memorial Day Ceremony
On Memorial Day, we remembered. On Monday morning, May 27th, Devine VFW Post 3966 presented a meaningful ceremony in front of their mural to remember and honor our nation’s fallen veterans of war. The Current Events Club of Devine was there in support and to kick off Devine’s 3rd year of participation in the National Wreaths Across America program.
Retired Air Force veteran Gary Saathoff presided over the ceremony, with Post Commander Jesse Rodriguez, Pastor Mike Petit of Calvary Chapel Church, and Boy Scout Troop 72 assisting. Certainly a day of solemn remembrance, the program included…
