The City of Devine will be performing a door-to-door survey to be conducted by an independent surveyor during February, 2018. The survey covers annual family income and family size. The survey is being performed to fulfill a funding agency requirement for a city-wide water meter replacement project.
The independent surveyor will have credentials provided by the City of Devine authorizing him/her to perform the survey. The City may also assign a city staff member to accompany the surveyor to answer questions about the survey process.

The Devine City Council will hold a Public Hearing on the Final Report of the Planning & Zoning Commission regarding the zoning change described above during the public meeting held on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Devine City Hall, located at 303 Teel Drive S, Devine, Texas.

Any person desiring to speak in favor of or against the change to the zoning classification as described above may appear before the Planning & Zoning Commission and/or the City Council at the Public Hearings listed above and/or may provide a written statement, including their name, address, and phone number, to the City Secretary prior to the date of the Public Hearing. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals for any reason it finds to be in the best interests of the City.
Any contract or contracts awarded under this Request for Proposals (RFP) are expected to be funded by grants/loans from the TWDB. Neither the State of Texas nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees are or will be a party to this RFP, or any resulting contract. This RFP is issued in accordance with Section 2254 of the Texas Government Code (Professional Services Act) and Title 40 CFR Part 31 (Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to State and Local Governments).
This procurement is subject to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) “fair share policy,” which includes EPA-approved “fair share goals” for Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) & Women Business Enterprise (WBE) firms in the Construction, Supplies, Equipment, and Services procurement categories. ENGINEERING SERVICES RFQ
The City of Devine, Texas (City) is soliciting statements of qualifications (SOQ) for professional engineering services associated with proposed water infrastructure improvements and emergency mitigation measures. The proposed project will include assistance in application preparation and documentation to Federal, State, and other possible funding sources. The anticipated duration of this service is 24 months with a tentative starting date of July 2019.
