Spring Fundraiser May 11th to benefit
The Devine Wesleyan Fellowship will be holding their Spring Fundraiser on May 11 to raise funds for Dollars for Scholars. We will be serving pulled pork, cole slaw, green beans and a drink for $12. The meal will be served at the Community Center starting at 11am until 2pm or sold out with eat in or takeout available.
Thea loves waking up and taking care of her chickens every morning. The SRD dog will help make sure she can be more independent and do the things she loves.

Thea Marie Keskinen-Burke a cheerful, adorable, six-year-old girl, and a source of joy to everyone she meets, has been given the “Gift of Hope” this year. Thea has never met a person she could not make smile. She loves God, her family, and her animals. It shines through in everything she does.

Ever one is invited to attend this free community gardening activity, Get Out & Grow, in Devine from 10:00 am to 12 pm noon on Saturday, April 13.
It is a gardening activity for the family, all ages welcome, with teachings led by Gro More Gardens, the Whitakers, from Devine.
It is sponsored by GroMore Gardens, Texas WIC Medina County, and SNAP, USDA, putting health foods within reach.

The Bigfoot Wallace Museum will be having our annual Birthday Celebration for Bigfoot Wallace, Saturday, April 13th starting at 9:00 a.m. We will be serving a meal that includes 2 hot dogs, chips, a soda, and a cupcake for $7; or, 1 hot dog, chips, a soda, and a cupcake for $4. We will also have a Bake Sale and we will be selling our museum t-shirts, caps, cookbooks, and post-cards. We are a non-profit and all donations are greatly appreciated to maintain and improve our museum. We are located at F.M. 472 and F.M. 462. We look forward to seeing you there.

Come join Napa Auto Parts as they host a grand opening ceremony for their third store located in Devine where attendees can enjoy free food Friday, and live music, a car show, a bounce house and a drawing for prizes on Saturday.
Located on 202 E. Herring Ave., this free event will last from Friday and Saturday, April 26-27. Catered by Dirt Road Cookers, attendees will have a chance to try a slice of a 10 – 12 foot pizza!

There will be a blood drive at the Medina County ESD 4 at Veterans’ Memorial Park located at 15421 Main Street in Lytle on Saturday, April 6th from 9 am to 2 pm. The bloodmobile will be present to accept donations.
