Kelly Kinsel, of Hondo, Texas has passed away at the age of 57.
Kelly graduated in 1988 from Texas A&I in Kingsville, Texas, and in 1992 from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. He was active in the banking community since his high school years, serving as Vice President of multiple banks. He was also a member of many organizations, such as Knights of Columbus, Lions Clubs, and Sigma Chi, and was an active member of the Catholic Church in the communities in which he lived.

April 22
9:27AM – Complainant on Robin Ave stated suspicious males in yard with possible bolt cutter. All okay, officer made location and wife had made arrangements for tree trimming and lawn care.

04/25 Dog at Large – While conducting routine city patrol the Officer on duty observed a large dog on the street. The Officer stopped and called the dog over. The dog came over when called and the Officer picked him up and placed him at the Natalia Kennels.

3:52 AM – 19900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.

Corinth Baptist Church to host Mother’s Day Breakfast May 12
Corinth Baptist Church will host their 1st Annual Mother’s Day Breakfast on Sunday, May 12, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:45 am. “Casual attire, the only requirement for attendance is an appetite! All mothers will receive a special gift,” stated Dr. Thaddeus K. Greene, Pastor.

Arabians beat Rockport Fulton; on to Area Playoffs
Game 1
Arabians headed to playoffs to face the Lady Pirates last week and as Coach Oropeza said “These girls like to raise my blood pressure by coming back to win games at the very last moment.” Indeed both games, Arabians raised that blood pressure. For the first game in the Bi-District series, Rockport Fulton scored early in the second inning holding the Arabians 1-0 until the 5th inning. Junior catcher Airyanna Rodriguez came up to bat to put that first point up by driving one to shortstop bringing in Kelsey Dishman to tie the game in the fifth inning.
