09/30/24 Citizen walked into the police station to report that her ex- was attempting to contact her after a judge had set a no contact order, and an officer is investigating the complaint.
09-30-24 Officers responded to the intersection of FM 471 S. @ IH 35 for a stranded motorist assist, officer physically pushed the vehicle off the road allowing traffic to continue flowing.
10-01-24 Officers were dispatched to a local business to check on a tucker that had not made his periodic check in with his trucking company, officers arrived and saw that the trucker was sleeping and all was well
10-01-24 While on city patrol officers encountered a pedestrian and as the officer drove closer to the pedestrian the officer noticed something in his hands, the officer asked what he had in his hands and the pedestrian admitted to carrying drugs, the officer addressed the crime.
10-01-24 Natalia Police Department and the City of Natalia sponsored the National Night Out event, we had a wonderful turnout, people enjoyed the Music of DJ Chris, The Ice Cream, and popcorn. The Natalia Fire Department was also present, their Firefighters sponsored a wonderful water hose interactive children’s game.
10-3-24 Officers responded to the 400 block of 7th street for a report of a child that refused to go to school. Officers arrived and they spoke with the child and gave her a ride to school.
10-4-24 While on city patrol officers encountered a large pitbull wandering at-large, Officers picked up the dog who turned out to be very friendly, as soon as the officer opened the door to his patrol vehicle the dog ran toward the officer and jumped in the vehicle and sat in the front seat of the vehicle. Later the dog was returned to its owner.
10-4-24 Officers responded to Tx-132 S. to a report of sheep running at-large on the road. The officer contacted the owner who lived nearby, and as soon as the owner whistled at the sheep, all the sheep ran toward the whistling owner.
10-4-24 A suspect in a Criminal Mischief case turned herself in to police when she found out she had two active warrants. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Medina County Jail.
10-5-24 Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Palfrey Street for a report of an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival officers met with the victim who told the officers that he had just been attacked by two identified suspects, a male and a female.. One suspect the female used a knife to cut the victim while the male grabbed the victim and choked the victim to the point of impeding the victim’s breathing. This case is under investigation
10-6-24 Officers were dispatched to the 20000 block of FM 471 S. for a report of two siblings fighting, upon arrival officers saw that one of the involved had left the scene and the remaining party did not want to pursue legal actions against the sibling.
