The Natalia School Board voted 7-0 to approve Lee Myers and Nicole Suhr as full-time Principal and Assistant Principal of Natalia High School at the Board meeting on Monday, March 22.
Both Myers and Suhr had been serving in those roles on an interim basis since former NHS Principal Dr. Andrea Moreno-Hewitt took over at Natalia Elementary School earlier this school year, and were recommended to remain in their new roles by new Superintendent Harry Piles.
“We are blessed to have an awesome administrative team,” Board President Eric Smith said. “I am really excited about extending contracts to our admin and offering these two full-time contracts.”
Myers came to the district from Southwest ISD and served as Assistant Principal under Hewitt, while Suhr was initially Academic Dean after making the move from Devine ISD.
“Mr. Piles was very confident of their ability when he brought forth the recommendation to us,” Smith said.
