Maria Reynalda “Reyes” Mata Sevier was called home by her creator on July 27, 2024 at the age of 82. She was born on January 5, 1942, to Juan Mata and Julia Martinez Mata in San Antonio, TX. She is the second to the youngest child of seven siblings.
Reyes married Fred C. Sevier, Jr. on February 12, 1968, and immediately moved to Lytle where she started her family and where she spent the rest of her adult life. She was a devoted wife and tenderly cared for Dad during his time of illness.

Terry Raymond Elliott
Terry Raymond Elliott of Natalia, TX passed away on July 16, 2024. He was born on August 22, 1955 in Castroville, TX to parents Tom and Doris Elliott. Terry is survived by his sister Sherry Elliott, nieces Cheri & Ashley Stricker, nephews Jake & Luke Stricker, and his honorary family and caregivers, Dana & Willa Woodson along with their family. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jerry & Gerry Elliott.
Terry’s memory will be honored by a visitation from 5-9 PM on Wednesday, August 07, 2024. A Funeral service will take place at Primrose Funeral Services in Devine, Texas at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 08, 2024. A burial is to follow the funeral service at Evergreen Cemetery.

Leslie George Hausler III
We are saddened to announce the passing of Leslie George Hausler III. He peacefully passed away at his home in Devine, Texas on July 15, 2024. Leslie was born on April 22, 1968, in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Natalia High School in 1986. Leslie’s contagious smile, loving heart, and bright funny spirit will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Leslie is survived by his parents Leslie & Catherine Hausler. His sisters: Victoria (Leo) Garcia, Jackelyn (Todd) Richardson, and Meredith (Edward) Chavez. His nieces and nephews: Brittnie (Jake) Galindo, Heather (Rusty) Cottrell, Sarah Richardson, Colby Carroll, Colton (Britty) Richardson, Bailey Carroll, Austin (Liz) Richardson, Riley Hausler, and Brianna Chavez. And numerous great nieces and nephews: Taryn, Brenna, Berlin, Delaney, Blayklie, Sonora, Weston, Sadie, and “Baby” Cottrell.
Leslie’s memory will be honored by a visitation from 5-9 PM on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Primrose Funeral Chapel. A graveside burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Devine, Texas at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

David Guerra Perez
David Guerra Perez, born in Natalia, Texas, has passed away at the age of 77.
David served in the Army as a mechanic, and later owned his own mechanic shop and Texaco gas station in the Devine area.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Juan and Adelina Perez, his brothers; Juan G. Perez (Rosa), Ricardo Perez, sisters; Minnie Garcia (Felix), Anita Estrada (Agustine), Sophia Pompa (Armando), Evelyn Tanner (Charles), and brother in law; Victor Gutierrez.
Michael Russel Walker
Michael Russel Walker, retired Fire Chief of Devine, Texas, has passed away in his home, surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 65.
Michael has served his community as a firefighter for over 45 years, and worked on pipelines for almost 50 years. Before coming to Devine, he’d served for 25 years and retired as Fire Chief at Fairchild VFD in Needville, TX. He dutifully served as Fire Chief here in Devine before retiring in March of 2021.
Michael knew his way around the grill. Grilling was his passion, and it showed. He was the head cook of Firewalker Cookers Competition BBQ Cook-Off Team for 5 years. His other passions in life was the love for his family, and selflessly helping people. His time in the service was a living testament to his care and compassion towards his community.
Michael was a hero.

Kennith is survived by his wife of 65 years, Willie Mae Mullins; son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Shawn Mullins; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Carl Wentreck; and son, Vincent Mullins; grandchildren, Wesley (Brenda) Mullins, Ryan (Dakota) Mullins, Julia (Matt) Hoog, Jacque (Paul) Mallon, Lindy (Tyler) Bradford, Wilson (Kayla) Marsh; great-grandchildren, Darian, Aaralynn, Teagan, Wade, Bradie, Porter, Lane, Kade, Wyatt, Summer, Harper, Hudson, Walker, Liam, Olivia, and Haddon.
Henrietta M. Campos
June 16, 1933 – July 7, 2024
Henrietta M. Campos was born June 16, 1933 and passed from this life July 7, 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Martha; grandsons Guadalupe, Little Leo, Leon, Abelardo Jr. Granddaughters Terry Ann and Alice Ann; great grandsons Logan, Little Abelardo (Auby), Raiden and great granddaughters Novely, and Tawny, as well as long time friend and caregiver George Martinez.
Henrietta was preceded by her husband Andres Campos, son Leo Campos, son-in –law Abelardo, brothers and sisters.
A memorial mass will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 7:30 pm at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia.
Evelyn Loggins
Evelyn Loggins, born December 22, 1939, has passed away at the age of 84.
Evelyn was Grandma or Nana to everyone in Lytle. She always had an open door, and no one ever went hungry when they were with Evelyn. She loved parties with the family, especially around the fire.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Adolph Opella and Sylvia Kopecki, husband; Jesse Loggins, and daughter; Debbie Loggins Paulson.
Marshall Molton Seay
Marshall Molton Seay entered eternal rest at the age of 74 on July 4, 2024. He was born on September 20, 1949, to his parents Henry Allen Seay Sr. and Juanita Marie Sanders in San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Elizabeth “Besty” Mentry, and sisters-in-law Faye and Debbie Seay.
He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Wanda; sons Fred (Crystal) of Yuma, AZ, Geoffrey (Destiny) of Devine, Andy Kinsey (David) of San Antonio. Brothers Henry Allen Jr of La Coste, Paul (Denise) of La Coste, and Charlie of Denver; Granddaughter Elizabeth “Lizzy” Marie and Grandson Marshall Allen of Devine; Step-grandchildren Shelby, Joy, and Tyler, of Yuma, AZ; and niece and nephews.
Robert Delaney
Robert Delaney, born on September 12, 1959, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2024 at the age of 64.
Robert is survived by his sister; Elaine Turnbow (Gary), his brother; Jim Delaney (Donna), sons; Robert Delaney Jr. (Rose), and John Delaney, daughter; Tara Wyrwich (Troy), his four grandchildren; Jacob Delaney, Jacelyn Delaney, Sydney Wyrwich, and Ryder Wyrwich. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Glenda (Katy) Delaney, father James David Delaney and mother Sophie Delaney.
