Community Movie Night at Devine First UMC June 20
Devine First UMC will be hosting a Community Movie Night on June 20, 2024 at 7pm! We will gather in the Fellowship Hall to watch “Moana” and the church will provide the popcorn and candy! Lytle to Celebrate 4th of July with Annual Fireworks Display
Freedom Fest: Devine Golf Course to celebrate 4th of July
All are invited to eat, drink, and play at 3 p.m. on July 4 at the Devine Golf Course to celebrate America’s independence.
Families can enjoy the waterslides, a lemonade stand and other free refreshments throughout the evening.
The Koehler Lane Band, a Texas-based rock band with a western twist, will perform live music from 7-10 p.m.
Due to local restrictions, there will be no fireworks.

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will present the webinar “Diagnosing Fish Kills” from 6-7:30 p.m. on June 18.
Cost is $35, and advanced registration is required at https://tx.ag/FishKills.
Recognizing and diagnosing fish mortalities
Todd Sink, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension aquaculture specialist and associate professor in the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management, will be the featured speaker. Sink is also director of the AgriLife Extension Aquatic Diagnostics Laboratory in Bryan-College Station.

2024 Reading Challenge kicks off
@ Driscoll Public Library-LOTS OF PRIZES
This year’s summer reading challenge begins on Monday, June 3rd and is open to participants ages 5 yrs. through 18 yrs. Logs and rules may be picked up at the circulation desk in the library during normal operating hours of 10 am – 6 pm.
All logs are time based and will require that kids read 300 minutes (5hrs) per log. With each completed log they will receive a ticket they can place in the drawing for the prize they want to win. Prize packages are on display in the library throughout the summer.
