The Natalia Mustangs (0-4) will open district play this coming Friday on the road in Kendall County vs. the Comfort Bobcats (2-3, 1-0). This will be the first time since 2002, Natalia and Comfort compete in Comfort and just the 2nd time since 02 they battle.

1st place winners of the Angels in the Fairway Golf Tourney Jolly Shackelford, Jay Dishman, Johnathan Gelinas, and Colin Dishman. The scholarship tourney was hosted in the memory of classmates Sam Buvinghausen, Dillion Burleson and Jacob Sanchez, all of the DHS Class of 2006. Congratulating them are Mr and Mrs Buvinghausen and Dillion’s mom Candace DeJesus.
On Monday 9/25 Devine JV competed with Medina Valley JV in a tie.

The Middle School Colts played their second game of the season last Thursday at Warhorse Stadium as the Uvalde Coyotes made the hour and some change trip to Devine.
The Varsity Lytle Lady Pirates won third with a score of 181 at the HOKA meet in Round Rock last weekend.

The Lady Pirate Cross Country team rebounded quite nicely from their Islander Splash showing to take the third spot of 38 teams in the HOKA Invitational at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock this past Saturday morning. Lytle scored 181 points to finish behind nemesis Poth who scored 120 and Hamilton who posted 173.

PIRATE XC JV -Isabella, Kimora, and Addison keep the pace as they competed in the River City CC Meet.

The JV Pirate Cross Country team were crowned champions at the River City Believers Invitational Saturday in San Antonio while the Lady Pirates also impressed garnering a third place finish.
