Weapons of World War I lecture March 11

The Shooting Star Museum will present its second lecture in the “2018 – 100 years since end of WWI” lecture series.
On Sunday, March 11, SSgt John Aken (Ret) will speak about the “Weapons of War I.” The 5:00 pm program will focus on the development of the weapons during the war, not only the American Soldiers, but the British and German forces in the “Western Front.” Following thelecture we will be showing the movie “Dawn Patrol” at 6:00 pm.
Come learn more about the Frist World War, and “Follow the WWI Flag” through its battles in Europe to the Armistice on Nov. 11, 1918.
The event will be at the Shooting Star Museum Library at 5445 C.R. 5710 Devine. The Museum is located 6 miles south of Castroville, off FM 1343. Call 210-386-6083 for information and/or driving directions. Ice cream and popcorn served during the movie.
