Volunteers needed for Bigfoot VFD


The Bigfoot VFD is looking for volunteers. There are many jobs that you can choose to do: entry firefighter, fire truck driver/operator, on-scene safety officer, assist with traffic control, on-scene accountability person, on-scene equipment support, administrative positions, firehouse truck maintenance, help with fundraisers, etc.
The benefits to being a volunteer firefighter are you receive training and equipment at no cost to you, you get to use state of the art apparatus and equipment, you can enjoy a family atmosphere and camaraderie and the life experience will prepare you for any situation.
Make a difference while learning valuable skills!
Our community needs volunteers to help keep us safe. Just donate two hours of your time each week (approximately 1% of your time). Follow your heart and try it out!
Business meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 7 pm. Training meetings are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 7 pm.
