Valerie Rose Hans Reeder, of Castroville, passed away on August 27, 2017 in San Antonio at the age of 52 years. She was born July2 4, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas to Maurice C. Hans and Leatrice Burell Hans.
Valerie graduated from Churchill High School and was the secretary for her father’s business, Hans Fabricators and Erectors. Her hobbies were fishing and playing pool. Taking care of her family was very important to her. Valerie was loving and caring, and will be missed by her family, friends, and most of all her dogs, Winston and Sally, who were her children.
Valerie was preceded in death by her father, Maurice C. Hans; her sister, Diane Hans Bowen and her niece Ashley Rose Hans.
Survivors include her mother, Leatrice Hans of Castroville; brothers Kevin Hans and Shane Hans of Castroville; nephews, Nick Hans and Gabe Hans of Castroville; and friends, Jacklyn Bowen and Sam Moreno of Castrvoille.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 starting at 6:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Services will conclude with the Holy Rosary. Memorials may be made in Valerie’s memory to St. Louis Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.
