Justa’ Bout 8 Arena invites you to join in the fun in the coming months as they do their Texas Senior Pro Bullriding Buckle Series in Bigfoot, Texas. The dates are May 20 at 3 pm (or June 4 if it rains May 20). The second part of the series will be held June 17, and third part on August 29 at 3 p.m.
“Get your gear bags, buddies and beer coolers ready! Grab the neighbors and the kids because the COUNT down is on for the start of the “TEXAS SENIOR PRO BULLRIDING” tour BUCKLE SERIES,” said owner and operator Brandi and Selvin Flores. “Ages 30 and up can enter, so if you think you still got what it takes, this is where you ride for the eight!!”
Be the first to sign up by texting 817-614-0736 the Monday before each event date. Fee is $65.00 and show time will be 3:00 pm. The event is at 1143 St HWY 173 Bigfoot, Texas, just 7.1 miles outside of Devine towards the Jourdanton direction. Concessions will be available. It is $10.00 to enter at the gate, and kids under 12 get in free.
Their operation started about 4 years ago. “We train horses, work cattle, raise bucking bulls, team ropings and promote events such as this,” Flores said. “My husband was a bull rider on the international side and was brought to the USA to ride bulls through the PBR organization. I have been into rodeo my entire life and we met through a mutual friend and the rest is history.”
