Tommy “Scooter” W. Evans, of La Coste, passed away Thursday November 23, 2017, at the age of 58.
He was born September 22, 1959 in Houston, Texas to David and Myron (Knickerbocker) Evans who both precede him, along with his brother Robert Tietze and his sister Monnie Fay Boyd.
Tommy was a graduate of Devine High School. He was a security guard in San Antonio.
On June 9, 1995 he married the former Terry Lynn Geiger in Devine. Terry survives along with his sister Donna May Hare.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine.
Funeral mass will be Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Devine.
