Terrance “Terry” Charles Johnson was born October 26, 1949 in Pasadena, Texas. He passed away at his home in La Coste on August 9, 2017 at the age of 67. His parents, who have preceded him in death, were Charles Richard Johnson and Lorene Lavern Johnson.
Terry served in the U.S. Marine Corps that included a tour of duty in Vietnam. On December 24, 1997, he married Olga Olivan at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Terry was a member of Medina Valley VFW #8134.
Survivors include his wife of nineteen years, Olga Olivan of La Coste; sons and daughter-in-law, Richard Moriset of Los Angeles, CA, and James and April Moriset of San Diego, CA; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and John Hawkins of Houston and Stephanie and Troy Bonnette of Canyon Lake, and numerous grandchildren.
His sister, Trudy, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 17, 2017 starting at 5:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Terry’s memory to Medina Valley VFW #8134.
