Rolinda Marie Tinar Hans, of Castroville, passed away on November 4, 2018 in San Antonio at the age of 59 years. She was born June 23, 1959 in Sweetwater, Texas, one of two children of Morgan and Anamary Pate Tinar.
In 1977, Rolinda graduated from Trinity High School in Euless, Texas. She married Douglas W. Hans on January 23, 1981 at St. Louis Catholic Church. They enjoyed over thirty-seven years of marriage and were blessed with two children and two grandchildren.
Rolinda loved caring for her husband, their children and their home. After her grandchildren Whitley and Pate were born and she became affectionately known as “RoRo”, she helped take care of them, loving every minute she could spend with them.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Hans of Castroville; daughter and son-in-law, Lacy and Paige Bishop of Castroville; son, Dillon Hans of San Antonio; grandchildren, Whitley Bishop and Pate Bishop of Castroville; parents, Morgan and Anamary Tinar of Bridgeport, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Joan Tinar of Castroville; parents-in-law, Glenn and Joyce Hans of Castroville; in-laws, Donald and Judy Hans of Allen, Cheryl and Kent Howard, Dennis and Bekki Hans of Castroville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2018 starting at 5:00 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church. Services will conclude with a reception and lunch at the Braden Keller Center.
