Police chase after theft Devine store; three arrested for drug charges

Devine Police Report…
September 22

1:22 PM – Officer assisted DPS with a major rollover accident on SB IH-35 at mile marker 121.

2:50 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Sollock Dr. reported a male with a tall build in a red shirt and a female with a short body type presenting themselves as City employees trying to change her services. Unable to locate.

5:05 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 500 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. The male driver and a male passenger were found to be in possession of marijuana less than 2 oz. Both were jailed.

5:48 PM – Officer dispatched to Cardinal Dr. in reference to “gun shots” coming from outside the city limits. Possibly hunters.

11:10 PM – Officers assisted Medina County Sheriff’s Deputy with a foot pursuit occurring from a theft at Devine Food Mart.

September 23

1:54 AM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of W. Davis Ave. to assist EMS. Upon arrival, patient had left walking. The male subject was contacted and was found to be in possession of meth. The subject was jailed.

2:56 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of S. Transportation Dr. The male driver was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and was cited and released.

10:00 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 900 block of W. Hondo Ave. A male subject was found to have an active warrant out of Bexar County and another active warrant out of Travis County and was jailed.

September 24

3:38 PM – Complainant of a verbal disturbance between a female subject and her mother in the 1100 block of Libold Dr. Officers made contact with a male resident, who stated both parties had left the location.

September 25

10:43 AM – Officer dispatched to Walmart for a detained shoplifter. A female subject was cited for theft less than $100.

3:00 PM – Verbal disturbance between a male subject and his neighbor in the 100 block of Galbreath. Negative contact; no longer on location.

9:45 PM – Complainant in the 1000 block of Robin Ave. advised his neighbors were out of town and a vehicle had been parked along the curb in front of the residence. All was okay.
