The Natalia 7th Grade Mustangs continued their winning ways at home last Thursday, as they notched a victory over the Poteet Aggies. Natalia was able to defeat the Aggies 20-6 to improve to 3-0.
“It was a fun and exciting game to watch our young men play such an intense and hard fought game,” the NJH Coaching staff said.
As far as the 8th Grade boys in blue are concerned, they were able to strike first, but unfortunately fell when it was all said and done. Poteet scored 20 unanswered points en route to a 20-8 victory over Natalia.
“Even though the scoreboard shows we were defeated, we are very proud of the effort our young men gave that night,” the NJH staff stated. “We can really notice the improvement our team is showing.”
Upcoming Game
Natalia will be open this week as they prepare for their district opener on the road on Thursday, October 11th versus Stockdale.
