NJH Mustangs split games vs Jourdanton

The Natalia Jr. High Mustangs split results, versus the Jourdanton Indians last Thursday night in Atascosa County. The 7th Grade was able to improve to 2-0 on the season with a huge road win, as the 8th grade dropped to 0-2 with a tough lop-sided loss.
“Our Mustangs looked a bit nervous, due to their sidelines having three times as many players as we did, but we showed off our ability with our 7th grade talent,” stated the NJH Coaching staff.
The 7th Grade Mustangs didn’t miss a beat as they punched the Tribe in the mouth early and often en route to a huge 40-6 road win.
“We dominated the game from start to finish,” stated the staff.
The 8th grade on the other hand, suffered a tough 40-0 loss.
“The score didn’t end like we wanted, but we know we have to keep working and it will pay off,” stated NJH staff said.
