Natalia Police Report Oct. 8-14

Oct. 8
11:15 PM – Officer responded to the 2000 block of Hwy. 132 about a suspicious female walking into the complainant’s yard. Officer arrived on location and spoke to him. He advised the Hispanic female asked him for alcohol and then left after he told her no. Officer contacted the female on Hwy. 132 and asked her if everything was okay. The female did not seem intoxicated and was given a ride home for her safety.
Oct. 11
11:37 PM – Officer responded to 6th St. about loud music complainant. Officer located the vehicle from which the loud music was coming and asked the driver sitting in the car to turn it down, so he did.
Oct. 12
5:22 PM – Officer responded to the 800 block of Pearson St. about an alarm at the athletic building. Officer made contact with school personnel. No further action was taken; false alarm.
7:15 PM – Officer responded to the 2000 block of IH-35 N. about a possible fire. Officer arrived on scene and observed it was only a controlled burn and had the dispatcher cancel the Natalia Fire Dept.
10:25 PM – Officer responded to the 500 block of Pearson St. about a suspicious male sitting in the driveway and ended up finding out he was just waiting for a ride and got picked up prior to the officer arriving.
Oct. 13
8:16 AM – Officer responded to the Elementary side parking lot about a hit and run. Officer contacted the complainant and he advised a gray four-door Mercedes Benz struck a car and left the property without leaving any information.
9:10 AM – Officer responded to the 100 block of E. 4th St. about a neighbor hooking up to another neighbor’s water service and using their water. The neighbor ended up having permission to use the water.
6:20 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop about a minor crash on property. Officer made contact with both drivers and they both stated they already exchanged information. Officer gave both of them a blue form just in case they needed it. Officer cleared the scene.
Oct. 14
1:16 AM – Officer received a loud noise report at the intersection of Hwy. 132 and FM 471. Officer made the location, found the noise and asked the person to turn it down, so they complied.
8:50 PM – Officer responded to the 500 block of 4th St. about suspicious juveniles in and out of a trailer at all hours of the day or night. The owner of the property would call back if there is any more activity.
9:02 PM – Officer responded to the 2000 block of Hwy. 132 about a welfare check on a family member. Officer made contact with the person in question and she just seemed sad and possibly depressed. The officer didn’t think she was a danger to herself and later cleared the scene.
