Natalia Police Report Oct. 1-8

October 1
7:20 PM – Officer responded to the 900 block of Palfrey St. about a male subject who wanted to turn himself in because he knew he had warrants and wanted to get them taken care of. Officer spoke to the suspect, gathered his information, and checked for warrants through the dispatcher. Two warrants were confirmed, and officer transported the subject to jail.
7:20 PM – Officer spoke to two complainants about an incident that occurred on Natalia High School property. Officer took two statements from kids about an adult walking onto school property just outside the band hall to complain to the band section leaders. Both statements were completed and forwarded to the School Resource Officer for further follow up.
October 3
4:20 PM – Officer responded to the 600 block of 6th St. about a fire alarm called in by the alarm company. Officer arrived on scene and spoke with homeowner, who said it was a false alarm.
7:35 PM – Officer responded to FM 471 for a stalled vehicle on the bridge. Officer arrived on scene and found out an 18-wheeler had run out of gas. A fellow truck volunteered to pull him to Love’s Truck Stop while officer and a DPS trooper momentarily blocked traffic.
October 4
2:30 PM – Officer responded to the 700 block of 6th St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer spoke to both parties, one of whom decided to leave to prevent further arguing. No further action was taken.
4:50 PM – Officers responded to the 800 block of 6th St. about a male subject who had an active warrant for sexual assault of a child/parole violation. Officer contacted the subject at his residence and arrested him on site. He was transported to the Medina County Jail.
October 5
2:00 PM – Officer responded to the 300 block of Aubrey St. about a house alarm. Officer contacted the homeowner’s son, who had accidentally set it off.
6:45 PM – Officer responded to the 400 block of 4th St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer contacted the female of the residence, who stated she and her husband were arguing and she was tired of all the fighting. Officer spoke to both parties and the husband decided later to leave the residence to prevent any further fighting.
October 6
11:15 AM – The SRO made contact with a student who apparently put hands on another student who found that unwanted touch offensive. SRO issued citation to the aggressor, who will have to appear in court at a later time.
4:00 PM – Officer responded to the 300 block of Bennett St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on location and spoke to the complainant. Officer was informed her husband was taking too many tools than what the judge ordered and that the divorce decree was not very specific on the tools or other things.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to a stalled vehicle near Love’s. The truck was unoccupied. The owner was later found, who stated her car was broken down and that she was awaiting someone to pick her up.
October 7
4:00 PM – Officer responded to the 300 block of Aubrey St. about a disturbance/criminal mischief. Officer contacted the complainant, who informed officer that her husband, from whom she is separated, forced her and her children to walk to his father’s house. When she returned to the residence, her car had extensive damage. Officer processed the scene and is currently investigating the offense.
October 8
11:15 PM – Officer responded to the 2000 block of Hwy. 132 N. about a female wandering onto someone’s property. Officer made contact with the homeowner, who informed officer a female entered the property and was saying she was looking for her boyfriend because they had gotten into an argument. The female left the area, and the officer later caught up with her north of the Natalia city limits. Officer gave her a courtesy ride to Twin Lakes.
