Natalia Police Report Nov. 28-Dec. 9


Nov. 28

4:30 PM – Officer received information that an outside agency/DPS had recovered a stolen vehicle that was reported to the Natalia Police Department in Zavala County. The vehicle was later returned back to its original owner.
Dec. 4
10:34 AM – Officer responded to IH-35 about some grass fires. Officer located the fire at the 124 mile marker northbound. Devine fire arrived on scene while officers closed down IH-35 N. temporarily in order to put out the fires.
7:27 PM – Officer responded to the Natalia Junior High School about an elderly male having a heart attack. Officer arrived on scene along with EMS to assist in any way possible. The male was checked out and later transported to an area hospital via private transportation.
Dec. 5
12:23 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop for a private property crash between two truck tractors. Officer arrived and spoke to both drivers, giving them blue forms and instructions on what to do with the forms. Officer later cleared the scene.
12:45 PM – Officer responded to IH-35 at mile marker 130 about a major crash. Officer assisted with traffic control and later cleared the scene, going back into service.
4:27 PM – Officer responded to assist with a major accident at the intersection of FM 463 and FM 471 with two cars head on. Officers arrived on location and assisted with traffic control and later cleared the call.
Dec. 6
3:10 PM – Officer responded to the 700 blk. of Palfrey St. about a possible stolen truck. Officers investigated the call and later determined the truck on the property was in fact reported stolen out of the San Antonio Police Department. The truck was recovered and later returned back to its rightful owner.
Dec. 9
4:42 PM – Officer responded to the 400 blk. of 4th St. about a disturbance at a residence. Officer arrived on scene and spoke to the homeowner and she advised her grandson was causing problems and wanted to issue a criminal trespass to him. Officer issued a trespass to the grandson who is 21 years of age not to return back to the property. Officer issued him a copy and later had him leave the property.
8:42 PM – Officer responded back out to the 400 blk. of 4th St. about the grandson was back on the property and intoxicated. Officer arrived on scene and arrested the male subject for criminal trespassing. The grandmother later gave a statement on her grandson trespassing back on her property.
