Natalia Police Report May 8-18

May 8
1:10 AM – Officer heard a call of a verbal disturbance in the 400 block of CR 6851, located in the Twin Lakes subdivision. Officer arrived on scene first and assessed the situation. Medina County Sheriff’s Deputy arrived on scene. There was no verbal disturbance, but the Deputy had to transport an elderly male to a San Antonio hospital for a mental illness evaluation.
10:05 AM – Officer was informed of a wanted person walking in an alley way in the 200 block of Miller and Palfrey St. Officer stated the wanted subject walked into a dark blue trailer. Officer knocked on the door and was granted permission to go inside the house. Officer asked the homeowner if a male subject was in his house, and the owner said he didn’t know anyone to be. Officer was granted permission to search the residence and found the male subject hiding inside a clothes closet. He was taken into custody on two felony warrants and transported to Medina County Jail.
10:25 PM – Officer responded to the IH-35 Southbound access road behind Love’s for a stalled 18-wheeler. Officer made contact with the driver, and the driver requested a tow truck to get his truck off the roadway. Pearsall Towing arrived on scene and removed the truck without incident.
May 10
4:20 PM – Officer made contact with a complainant at the Natalia PD about filing a report for identity theft. The complainant advised someone ordered three iPhone 7 Plus cell phones under his name on May 5 without his knowledge. One of the phones was delivered to a residence in Houston. The other two phones were flagged and would not be delivered. Offense pending investigation.
7:15 PM – Officer went to the 700 block of Palfrey St. to serve two felony warrants on a female subject. Officer arrived at location and made contact with the wanted person in question. Officer confirmed the warrants and placed the subject into custody and transported her to the Medina County Jail.
7:30 PM – Officer went to the 100 block of 5th St. to serve two felony warrants on a male subject. Officer arrived at the location and made contact with the wanted person in question. Officer confirmed the warrants and placed the subject into custody and transported him to the Medina County Jail.
9:05 PM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of 4th St. in reference to an incident that occurred earlier in the evening at the Little League Field when a girl spit on him. The complainant didn’t want to file charges, but wanted to document the incident in case it happened again.
May 11
2:08 PM – Officer responded to the 400 block of CR 6612 to assist Medina County on a possible break-in occurring at a residence. A Medina County Deputy called all officers responding to disregard and not respond.
May 12
10:36 PM – Officer responded to the 500 block of Barlett St. in reference to a woman 12 weeks pregnant having abdominal pains. EMS arrived on scene and took the woman to a hospital in San Antonio.
May 13
11:45 PM – Officer received a call from the LaCoste PD asking to assist on a civil matter with a male subject and ex-girlfriend who resides in Natalia at the Town and Country Trailer Park. The male subject needed to go over and pick up some of his personal belongings. The officer escorted the male subject to the residence, but no one was at home.
May 18
8:20 PM – Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Palfrey St. in reference to a suspicious male subject that followed her daughter and friend to the Dollar Store and scared them, so her daughter called her to report the incident. The vehicle was pointed out and the license plate number was taken. The driver resided outside of Natalia. Officer will be following up on the incident.
