Natalia Police Report June 6-13


June 6

2:30 PM – Officer responded to the 600 block of Hwy. 132 N. about assisting the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a search warrant. Officer covered the perimeter and two suspects who were in custody. The Sheriff investigators advised they had all the evidence collected and later transported the two suspects to the Medina County Jail.
4:31 PM – Officers assisted Devine PD in locating three armed robbers who broke into a residence and robbed a resident at a trailer park close to the football field. Officers were unable to locate the suspects.
June 10
1:30 AM – Officer responded to the picnic road side park southbound IH-35 S. about an intoxicated driver at that location. Officer found the vehicle and noticed the driver side door open and a male in the driver’s seat passed out. Officer observed beer cans all inside the floorboard. Officer later concluded his investigation by arresting the driver for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
June 11
8:05 PM – Officer responded to the 400 block of Bartlett St. about a civil matter. Officer spoke to the complainant and then the other party about relinquishing a vehicle the complainant cosigned for the other party, but ended up working things out on the scene for now.
June 12
6:45 PM – Officer responded to the 300 block of Aubrey St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on location and the male partner had already left the scene. Officer spoke to the female and she stated they had only had a verbal argument and it wasn’t physical. Officer later cleared the scene.
June 13
8:24 AM – Officers responded to the 400 block of Aubrey St. about an unresponsive male subject sitting on the toilet. Officers, firefighters, and EMS got on scene and assisted the unresponsive elderly onto a stretcher and later to the hospital in an attempt to save the man’s life.
11:00 AM – Officer responded to the 200 block of Pearson St. about a small child slamming her finger in an iron door. EMS arrived on scene and treated the child and then transported her to an area hospital.
11:11 AM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop in Natalia about a private property crash. Officer arrived in the back parking lot and the two drivers were already exchanging personal information for the accident. Officer gave the drivers blue forms to record their information and turn into their companies.
3:29 PM – Officer responded to the 6800 block of Hwy. 132 to assist a Trooper. Officer arrived on location and the Trooper asked to watch the driver while he conducted his traffic investigation. The Trooper later returned and released the driver. Officer went back in service.
June 15
4:33 PM – Officer responded to the 500 block of 4th St. about a theft. Officer gathered all the information of the suspect and property taken. Officer advised the victim the case will be ongoing.
11:05 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop about a private property crash. Officer arrived in the back parking lot and the two drivers were already exchanging personal information for the accident. Officer gave the drivers blue forms to record their information and turn into their companies.
3:50 PM – Officer responded to the 1900 block of Hwy. 132 N. about a private property crash. Officer spoke to the victim and she stated that someone backed into the front end of her Kia while at the residence. Officer gave the victim a blue form and cleared the scene.
4:15 PM – Officer responded to the intersection of IH-35 S and FM 471 about a broken down truck tractor blocking traffic. Officer called Pearsall Towing and directed traffic until they arrived on location and removed the truck tractor. The roadway was clear and officer cleared the scene.
6:40 PM – Officer responded to the 700 block of Palfrey St. about criminal mischief. Officer spoke to the victim and she stated her ex-boyfriend broke out three of her Tahoe windows out of anger and took off on foot. Officer gathered all his information on the suspect and would later get a warrant for his arrest on the criminal mischief.
