Natalia Police Report June 18-23


June 18
8:01 AM – Officer responded to the 200 block of CR 6611 in Devine about a disturbance. Officer provided cover until a Medina County Sheriff Deputy arrived. Deputy took over the scene. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
9:30 PM – Officer responded to the Devine Walmart to assist the police department with several people inside of a stolen vehicle. Officer arrived and provided cover until the PD could complete their investigation. Officer later cleared the scene and went back in service.
June 20
8:35 PM – Officer contacted an owner of a food truck parked adjacent to CD’s Tire Shop and checked to see if they had the proper permit from the City of Natalia, which they did not have. They were advised to shut down and get the permit. The owner complied without question.
11:58 PM – Officer responded to CR 7713 about a major crash. Officer arrived on location among other agencies providing traffic control assistance. DPS arrived on scene and worked the scene. Officer later returned back to service.
June 21
1:50 AM – Officer responded to the 2000 block of Hwy. 132 N. about a missing person. Officer searched the immediate area and wasn’t able to locate. The man was later recovered at the dialysis center in Lytle.
10:43 PM – Officer responded to the 200 block of CR 6711 about an intoxicated person refusing EMS transport. Officer was able to speak to the man and calmed him down. The man was later transported to Southwest General Hospital.
June 23
1:44 AM – Officer observed several vehicles on 4th and 5th St. driving around and observed for any wrongdoing. All the vehicles left the city and out on to CR 6723. Officer informed the Sheriff’s Office and deputies arrived at a residence located in the 900 block of CR 6723 and checked for any underage drinking. Officer assisted in checking IDs and safely sent all people on their way.
4:00 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop about a private property crash between two commercial vehicles. Officer issued blue forms to both drivers and explained it in its entirety. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
