Natalia Police Report July 9-16

July 9
1:40 AM – Officer responded to CR 787 and CR 785 for a shots fired call. Officer arrived on scene and encountered multiple officers around a silver sedan. A Medina County Deputy advised a black male had run from the vehicle, and after a short search, the male was found, placed into custody, and taken to jail. Officer cleared the scene without incident.
6:47 PM – Officer responded to IH-35 S and Exit 127 in attempt to locate a red Mazda sedan with paper tags driving recklessly in and out of traffic. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
8:08 PM – Officers responded to Love’s Truck Stop to assist with a 27-year-old white male subject with chest pains. Officers arrived on scene and waited for AMR services to arrive. EMS arrived on scene, evaluated the patient, and transported him to a hospital in San Antonio. Officers cleared the scene and went back in service.
9:11 PM – Officers responded to Love’s about a verbal disturbance between a homeless man and a shop employee. Officer spoke to both parties. The homeless subject was asked to leave and did so. Officers cleared the scene without incident.
9:44 PM – Officer responded to Love’s about a female subject stating she was being followed. Officers made contact with the complainant and stated she was being followed since leaving her home in Lytle. She believed it was one of her tenants she had evicted and was mad at her. Officer explained to the complainant that she needed to go back to Lytle and file a formal report with Lytle PD if the behavior persists.
10:14 PM – Officers responded to the Natalia athletic field house about the Internet going down and setting off an alarm. Officers made location and searched the area for any open doors or windows. Officers secured the building and cleared the area.
July 10
1:50 PM – Officer responded to Love’s about a private property crash. Officer arrived on scene and spoke to both parties, and issued a citation to one of the drivers for not having a driver’s license. Officer cleared the scene and went back into service.
July 13
8:12 AM – Officer responded to the 300 block of 4th and Cresson St. for a person in dark clothing with a backpack in the alley. No one was found after a complete search of the area.
2:38 PM – Officer responded to the Natalia campus about two male subjects looking suspicious. Officer contacted the two subjects and asked them what they were doing and one of the males, who was a school employee, replied they were using the Wi-Fi. Officer asked the subjects to leave, and they did so.
7:05 PM – Officer responded to the PD for a male subject wanting to speak to an officer and turn himself in because he knew there was an active warrant for his arrest. Officer confirmed the warrant and took the subject to the Medina County Jail.
10:50 PM – Officer responded to the 2000 block of Hwy. 132 about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on location and made contact with the complainant, who stated she could see a large male subject standing by her car and that it was dark. She was not able to give a description of the subject. Officer attempted to locate anyone walking around her residence but was unable to do so. No one was located in the area.
July 14
5:00 AM – Officer responded to the 300 block of Aubrey St. to assist the MCSO on a search warrant. Officer secured the front door while deputies went into the residence. Officer went back into service when he was no longer needed.
July 16
1:11 AM – Officer responded to Hwy. 132 S. about a person on a bicycle who was possibly intoxicated and headed towards Natalia from Devine. Officer was unable to locate the subject.
1:33 AM – Officer responded to FM 471 and Heather Hollow to assist a DPS trooper with a traffic stop. Trooper had placed a female subject into custody who was starting to become aggressive, and the trooper asked if he could temporarily place the female subject in the officer’s unit because he had a cage. The trooper concluded his field investigation and placed the female subject into a Medina County unit, where she was later transported to the Medina County Jail.
