Due to the Thanksgiving Holidays, no stats and scores were available by press time for the basketball program. Here is a quick run-down of action and a look ahead.
Natalia Mustangs
The Natalia Mustangs opened their season last Wednesday in the Hill Country against the Comfort Bobcats. Comfort broke things open in the second half en route to a huge victory over Natalia. The Stangs only trailed 11 at the half prior to bowing down in a lop-sided road loss.
Natalia will host the Devine Warhorses this Tuesday, November 27th at home at 5:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.
Lady Mustangs
The Natalia Lady Mustangs split non-district action as they fell to San Marcos Home-School and Schertz John Paul II before picking up a win over the Utopia Lady Buffs (48-36) on Monday, November 19th.
The JV Lady Mustangs competed in the Devine Tournament last weekend. Natalia opened the tourney with a 32-30 win over Pearsall before losing to Poth 35-10. Natalia then faced Devine in the 3rd place game where they fell to the Arabians 36-27.
The JV Lady Stangs then picked up a big home win Monday defeating Utopia 57-12.
Natalia will host the Ingram Lady Warriors this coming Tuesday at home.
