Lytle Police Report Sept. 10-16


Sept. 10
2:10 AM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot. The driver was asleep behind the wheel. Officer made contact with the driver and noted no signs of intoxication.
3:15 PM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a verbal disturbance.
4:18 PM – Officer responded to Lytle City Hall for a talk to an officer in reference to a female in a black vehicle who accused the complainant of striking her vehicle while parked at HEB Plus. Complainant denied causing any damage.
4:25 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
4:53 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
5:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a welfare check on an elderly male slumped over the steering wheel in a gray SUV. Officer arrived and searched the area, unable to locate.
Sept. 11
9:25 AM – Complainant talked to officer and reported that he lost his driver’s license between August 4 and September 8, 2018.
4:58 PM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of an odor of natural gas. Officer arrived and it was discovered to be onions in the weeds.
7:45 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash and assisted Atascosa Co. Pct. 3 Deputy Constable with locating a subject who had walked away from the Crisis Center that had a mental health warrant. The subject was located and transported by the Deputy Constable.
10:35 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Main St. for a report of two trucks revving their engines. Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
Sept. 12
4:17 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB for a report of a reckless driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
9:45 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB Frontage Rd. at FM 3175 to assist a stranded motorist.
Sept. 13
12:18 PM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of Eliza St. for a report of harassment.
1:45 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to an unknown person who cashed her check for $131.25 without her permission.
2:40 PM – Officer responded to Valero for a report of bees stinging people. Officer discovered an old travel trailer had been dropped off at the Valero after a bee’s nest located on the trailer was discovered.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. at Cottage St. for a report of complainant’s son who had been bitten by a dog while walking home from school. Incident occurred outside of Lytle city limits. Complainant was referred to Medina Co. SO.
6:05 PM – Officer responded to 63300 Blk. of Juarez St. to unlock a vehicle.
6:15 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a two vehicle crash.
8:00 PM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of S. Benton St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
Sept. 14
12:47 AM – Officer responded to H&S Cream Pop for a report of harassing phone calls.
2:26 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious male walking out of the store with an arm covered in blood. Officer located the man and his friend at the HEB pumps. Both men stated the bloody arm was the result of a trip and fall at HEB. The man declined EMS.
5:33 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 near the sewer plant for a report of 2 shots fired. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
7:00 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and turned in found property.
9:00 PM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of loud music. Officer arrived and the music was not too loud however, the resident agreed to lower the music.
Sept. 15
6:55 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a natural death.
12:47 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Adams St. and talked to complainant in reference to $60 missing from her residence. Complainant suspected a family member.
9:02 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
9:09 PM – Officer responded to CR 6841 for a report of a suspicious vehicle following complainant’s son. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
Sept. 16
1:20 AM – While conducting building checks officer located an unsecured back door at 19400 Blk. of McDonald St. Officer cleared the building and found no sign of criminal activity.
1:11 PM – Complainant talked to officer in reference to harassment.
2:26 PM – Officer responded to Bruce St. at IH 35 for a report of loud music. Officer arrived and the music was lowered.
3:45 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a disturbance. Officer made contact with two residents who denied any disturbance, no signs of disturbance/assault observed.
7:04 PM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of S. Prairie St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
9:00 PM – Officer responded to Bill Miller BBQ and talked to complainant in reference to a 19 YO family member missing since 6pm. Approximately 5 minutes later, the complainant called back and reported that the family member had returned home.
