Oct. 8
12:41 PM – Officer responded to First St. to check on a resident.
4:30 PM – Responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a suspicious person. The individual was located and given courtesy ride to his residence.
6:44 PM – Report of a customer that attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise. The suspect departed prior to officer’s arrival. Case under investigation.
8:35 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB MM 131 to assist a motorist who ran out of gas.
10:17 PM – Report of a welfare check on Mesquite Street.
Oct. 9
9:55 AM – Officers responded to Country View Apartments for burglary report. Unknown person(s) forcibly entered a vacant apartment being used for storage. A floor scrapper and miter saw were stolen. The crime occurred sometime between 8 AM – 9:45 AM on this date.
11:55 PM – Officer responded to H-E-B Plus for a hit and run accident. Unknown vehicle struck a legally parked and unattended vehicle and departed the scene.
12:15 PM – Officer responded to Hester @ Florence Street for a minor two vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.
1:10 PM – Officer conducted a welfare check on a resident on First Street.
3:59 PM – Officer conducted a welfare check on a young child walking on N. Prairie St.
4:15 PM – Officers responded MC Self-Storage for a verbal dispute over property.
5:15 PM – Officer responded HEB Plus for a verbal dispute.
8:42 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 for a report a patient who departed on foot from the Camino Real Crisis Center. The subject wasn’t located.
9:15 PM – While on patrol observed an individual dumping illegally in a business dumpster.
Oct. 10
4:51 AM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for an activated burglar alarm.
6:30 AM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for an activated burglar alarm.
6:35 AM – Officer responded to the 15100 Blk. of Railroad Street for natural death. Ralph Weaver was 95 years old and pronounced deceased at 7:30 AM by Atascosa County JP #2 Kyle Bradley.
9:55 AM – Officer responded 19200 Blk. of N. Somerset for a vehicle that drove on a residents front yard.
10:08 AM – Complainant reported that his passport was stolen from his mailbox on FM 463.
10:50 AM – Complainant requested information on the process of filing a “Hot Check” complaint.
2:45 PM – A Complainant requested extra police patrol on Bruce Street.
3:20 PM – Officer responded to the 14600 Blk. of Main Street for a reckless driver.
5:28 PM – Officers recovered evidence regarding a criminal investigation
6:15 PM – Officer responded to Lytle-Somerset St for a truck tractor semi-trailer blocking the roadway.
6:15 PM – Officer(s) report of a suspicious pickup truck on Hidalgo St.
7:15 PM – Officer responded to the John Lott Park for a male allegedly smoking marijuana. The officer located the individual and determined the individual was smoking a cigarette.
Oct. 11
1:52 AM – Officer initiated contact with a suspicious vehicle in the 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. No signs of criminal activity.
1:52 AM – Officer conducted a traffic stop on Lytle-Somerset St. The driver, a 22-year-old female subject, was found to be allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia. The subject was cited and released for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
3:50 AM – Officer responded to the Lytle Nursing Home assisted Lytle EMS with a patient.
1:35 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
3:15 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Railroad Street for a 2 suspicious individuals. They agreed to depart the location.
3:28 PM – Officer responded to Juarez Street for a report of a reckless driver.
6:50 PM – Officer responded to CR 6710 for a report of a stolen cell phone. Incident occurred at Lytle HS.
11:38 PM – Officer responded to Mason @ Live Oak Street for welfare check.

8:15 AM – Officer responded to the 18000 Blk. of IH 35 for a suspicious vehicle.
11:45 AM – Officers responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
1:20 PM – Officers responded to the John Lott Park to unlock a vehicle.
1:30 PM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Railroad Street for a 2 suspicious individuals. They agreed to depart the location.
1:45 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a suspicious customer suspected of shoplifting. The suspected departed prior to the officer’s arrival. The stolen items were left behind
2:35 PM – Officers responded to the Lytle Nursing Home to unlock a vehicle.
4:03 PM – Officer responded to Juarez Street for a report of a reckless driver.
5:15 PM – Officer responded to the John Lott Park for a report of juveniles smoking. The juveniles departed prior to the officer’s arrival.
6:26 AM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Gate Street for a natural death.
10:22 PM – Officer initiated a stop on a bicyclist on the 15000 Blk. of Main St. that did not have the required lighting for nighttime operation.
Oct. 13
12:18 AM – Officer assisted the Medina Co. S.O. with a reported physical disturbance in the 300 Blk. of CR 6854.
1:17 AM – Officer assisted the Atascosa Co. S. O. with a report of minors drinking in the 1100 Blk. of FM 3175.
2:29 AM – Officer made contact with 3 juveniles walking in the city past curfew. Parents were notified and picked up their children.
4:40 AM – Officer assisted the Atascosa Co. S.O. with possible prowlers in the area of Collins Hill Rd. @ Luckey Rd.
12:00 PM – Officer assisted with unlocking a vehicle at the HEB C-Store.
12:35 PM – Officer responded to the 15300 Blk. of Main St. in reference to phone harassment.
6:30 PM – Officer responded to the Napa Auto parts for an alarm.
8:19 PM – Officer assisted the Atascosa Co. S.O. with a traffic stop.
8:25 PM – Officer responded to the 19100 Blk. of First St. for a reported assault between family members as well as the theft of a Play Station game console. Case is under investigation.
Oct. 14
4:26 AM – Officer responded to the 15400 Blk. of Houston St. for a verbal disturbance.
4:51 AM – Officer responded to the area of FM 476 @ Old Rock Rd. to assist the Atascosa Co. S.O. with an unresponsive subject in a vehicle.
5:20 AM – While en-route back to the city LPD checked on the welfare of a vehicle stopped on the side of the road in the 1500 Blk. of FM 2790 East. LPD determined the driver was intoxicated and the Atascosa Co. S.O. responded to handle the incident due to jurisdiction.
8:25 AM – Officer responded to the 19800 Blk. of Creek St. for shots fired. Officer determined it was hunters across IH 35 in the county.
1:18 PM – Officer responded to Twin Liquors for an alarm.
2:24 PM – Officer responded to the 14800 Blk. of Main St. as a person was reporting stolen A/C units. Officer advised that the report had already been taken by police.
4:30 PM – Officer responded to the 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a theft report. Complainant reported that his Childs school issued laptop was stolen approx. 2 weeks ago while at the John Lott Park.
5:58 PM – Officer responded to the 19200 Blk. of McDonald St. for a bicycle that was found next to an abandoned building.
7:37 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at FM 2790 N to assist EMS.
8:40 PM – Officer responded to the Pumphouse Car Wash to check the welfare of a driver that was stopped at the location.
9:15 PM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus in reference to a subject harassing a female employee in the parking lot.
9:20 PM – Officer responded to the HEB C-Store for a stolen vehicle report. An unknown subject stole a 2009 Chrysler 300 that was left unattended, unlocked with the keys in the ignition next to a gas pump. The vehicle was entered as stolen.
