Lytle Police Report May 21-May 27


May 21

8:15 AM – Officer responded to FM 2790 at FM 463 for a report of tree limbs on the northbound lane causing a hazard.
11:15 AM – Officer responded to Main St. at Gray St. for a report of a vehicle in tow that became disconnected. Officer assisted by pushing the vehicle off the roadway.
11:45 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus and talked to complainant who reported that when she opened the door of her truck her dog jumped out and ran off. The dog is white and has a name tag with her name and emergency contact number.
11:51 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious customer. Officer conducted a walk through.
2:13 PM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Tippen Rd. and conducted traffic control while a jump start was given to a disabled vehicle.
4:30 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School for a two vehicle crash.
10:44 PM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of N. Somerset St. for a report of an unruly child.
May 22
9:26 AM – Officer met complainant in the 18000 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. and took a report of suspicious activity that occurred earlier in the morning.
1:03 PM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of Live Oak St. and assisted a process server with locating an individual that resides on Live Oak St.
1:24 PM – Officers responded to 19700 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of a suspicious male in the area knocking on doors. Officer located a CPS Contractor changing meters.
4:30 PM – Officers were flagged down at Mesquite St. and S. Benton St. for a report of a snake in the yard.
11:05 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of N. Somerset St. for a report of a Bluetooth speaker and bicycle parts being stolen from complainant’s porch. Complainant stated he saw a Hispanic male wearing a white muscle shirt running away from his property.
May 23
7:40 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of a road rage disturbance. The complainant reported that a driver cut him off while he was operating his motorcycle in the parking lot. The complainant stated that the suspect displayed a firearm and tried to start a physical altercation. Case under investigation.
8:30 AM – Officer assisted the public with fingerprints for employment purposes.
8:47 AM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Cottage St. for a report of an alarm. The resident was home and advised it was a false alarm and everything was ok.
12:20 PM – Officer provided escort for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
5:30 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School for a vehicle crash.
11:15 PM – Officer responded to 18900 Blk. of N. Pecan St. for a report of a verbal disturbance that had occurred at the park. Officer was unable to locate the other suspect involved.
May 24
7:50 AM – Officer observed a street sign down at the intersection of Lake and N. Prairies
3:15 PM – Officer responded to Schwan’s for a report of an attempt theft. An unknown person(s) tried to steal 3 A/C units from behind the building. All units were damaged beyond repair.
May 25
2:25 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 S for a report of debris in the roadway.
3:30 PM – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding on Main Street. The driver, a 29-year-old female subject, was arrested for an active Bexar County Arrest Warrant – Possession of Marijuana <2 oz. and was also cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was booked into the Atascosa County Jail.
5:09 PM – Officers took a report of an incident that occurred at the LPD Station parking lot during a child exchange.
7:09 PM – Officer received a report of a reckless driver on Hester Street.
May 26
2:06 AM – Officer responded to the Lytle Nursing Home to assist Lytle VFD with a stove fire. No injuries were reported.
10:45 AM – Officer provided a funeral escort to FM 2790 E and IH 35.
2:47 PM – Officer was contacted by a complainant concerning a criminal trespass incident. The complainant was referred to Bexar County SO because incident occurred outside the city.
3:03 PM – Officer assisted Lytle VFD with a transformer fire. CPS Energy also responded to repair the line.
8:25 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Magnolia for an elderly pedestrian who appeared lost or disoriented. A family member was notified and took custody of the individual.
10:50 PM – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding on Main Street. The driver, a 30-year-old male subject, was arrested for a Medina County Arrest Warrant – POM <2 oz. and was booked into the Medina County Jail.
11:39 PM – Officer was dispatched to the 63000 Blk. of Hidalgo Street to unlock a vehicle.
May 27
9:50 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for an unruly customer. The subject departed prior to officer’s arrival.
11:05 AM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of First Street to assist AMR EMS with a patient.
12:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious customer.
12:00 PM – Officer received a report of an unruly customer at Pronto Insurance.
2:03 PM – Officer responded to the area of FM 2790 N to look for a possible intoxicated driver.
5:17 PM – Officer responded to the 19200 Blk. of First Street to unlock a vehicle.
5:32 PM – Officer spoke to complainant over the phone in reference to child custody.
6:30 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store to assist EMS.
6:45 PM – Officers checked on a suspicious subject at the HEB C-Store.
7:30 PM – Officers responded to the Days Inn Motel for subjects in the pool that were not guests and were refusing to leave.
9:10 PM – Officers responded to the 15100 Blk. of Norvell St. for a report of suspicious activity. Officers found a tree removal company finishing a job.
11:14 PM – Officers red tagged an abandoned vehicle in the 19900 Blk. of IH 35 Access Road.
